El presidente de Chad, Idriss D\u00e9by, declar\u00f3 que las relaciones con Israel ser\u00e1n restablecidas formalmente en cuesti\u00f3n de algunas pocas semanas.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cAnunci\u00e9 ayer que renovaremos las relaciones diplom\u00e1ticas entre Chad e Israel y esto ocurrir\u00e1 en los pr\u00f3ximos d\u00edas o semanas\u201d, apunt\u00f3 D\u00e9by durante una entrevista ofrecida al canal i24News.<\/p>\n

\u201cVinimos aqu\u00ed esta vez con un plan preciso. No ten\u00edamos conexi\u00f3n con Israel desde 1972 y el objetivo era restablecer esa conexi\u00f3n\u201d.<\/p>\n

Cuando se le pregunt\u00f3 al presidente D\u00e9by por qu\u00e9 no se reuni\u00f3 con su hom\u00f3logo de la Autoridad Palestina, Mahmoud Abb\u00e1s, respondi\u00f3 \u201cNo tenemos problemas ni con Abb\u00e1s ni con los palestinos, \u00e9l es nuestro amigo y participa en todas las comisiones de la Uni\u00f3n Africana\u201d.<\/p>\n

D\u00e9by expres\u00f3 que si su pa\u00eds puede ayudar a restablecer los lazos entre Israel y Sud\u00e1n, no lo dudar\u00e1: \u201cEl mundo est\u00e1 cambiando frente a nuestros ojos, incluso las crisis y las guerras que hemos conocido. No deseo eso a la generaci\u00f3n de hoy ni a las futuras generaciones. Chad no pretende ser el portavoz de \u00c1frica; Chad est\u00e1 solamente para restablecer las relaciones diplom\u00e1ticas; pero si podemos ayudar, lo haremos\u201d.<\/p>\n
