El Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores anunci\u00f3 el nombramiento de George Deek como pr\u00f3ximo embajador de Israel en Azerbaiy\u00e1n el jueves, lo que lo convierte en el primer embajador \u00e1rabe cristiano de Israel.<\/p>\n

Deek, un diplom\u00e1tico muy aclamado, es actualmente asesor principal del Director General Yuval Rotem.<\/p>\n

Deek se uni\u00f3 al ministerio en 2008, y se desempe\u00f1\u00f3 como jefe adjunto de misi\u00f3n en la embajada de Israel en Noruega de 2012 a 2015, y como jefe adjunto de misi\u00f3n en la embajada en Nigeria de 2009-2012.<\/p>\n

\u201cEstamos orgullosos de su nombramiento, que simboliza perfectamente la integraci\u00f3n de israel\u00edes de diferentes or\u00edgenes en la representaci\u00f3n del Estado\u201d, dijo el portavoz del Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores Emmanuel Nahshon.<\/p>\n
