El presidente palestino, Mahmud Abb\u00e1s, afirm\u00f3 que la Autoridad Palestina (AP) seguir\u00e1 pagando salarios a las familias de los terroristas y a los presos como as\u00ed tambi\u00e9n a los heridos en los enfrentamientos con las fuerzas de seguridad israel\u00edes.<\/em> <\/strong><\/p>\n

Abb\u00e1s recalc\u00f3 que se trata de una \u201cl\u00ednea roja\u201d, durante un discurso ofrecido ante el Comit\u00e9 Central de la Organizaci\u00f3n para la Liberaci\u00f3n Palestina (OLP). \u201cLos salarios de nuestros m\u00e1rtires (shahid), heridos y presos son una l\u00ednea roja. Nos presionan de todas las formas. No cederemos. Se trata de un asunto sagrado. Si nos queda solamente un centavo, ser\u00e1 para ellos\u201d, asegur\u00f3 Abb\u00e1s.<\/p>\n

Abb\u00e1s volvi\u00f3 a atacar el presidente estadounidense, Donald Trump. \u201cDesde hace tiempo que nos hablan del \u2018Acuerdo del Siglo\u2019. \u00bfQu\u00e9 queda del Acuerdo del Siglo? \u00bfJerusal\u00e9n? Trasladaron all\u00ed la embajada. Los refugiados: los norteamericanos cancelaron a UNRWA, nos dijeron que hay solamente 40 mil refugiados. \u00bfQu\u00e9 40 mil? Hab\u00edan 950 mil, y ahora hay seis millones\u201d.<\/p>\n

Abb\u00e1s a\u00f1adi\u00f3 que \u201cJerusal\u00e9n oriental, que fue conquistada en el 67, cada cent\u00edmetro de ella es nuestra capital\u201d. Tambi\u00e9n asever\u00f3 que no permitir\u00e1 la divisi\u00f3n entre Cisjordania y Gaza. \u201cNos aferraremos a nuestra tierra y ninguna fuerza del mundo nos mover\u00e1. El establecimiento de medio estado en Gaza y una autonom\u00eda en Cisjordania es como la Declaraci\u00f3n Balfour. Estamos adheridos a la unidad palestina\u201d. No obstante, Abb\u00e1s no se refiri\u00f3 a sanciones a Gaza ni a ninguna medida concreta sobre el tema.<\/p>\n

\u201cEsta es la etapa m\u00e1s peligrosa que atraviesa el pueblo palestino. Debido a que hay un n\u00famero de decisiones muy dif\u00edciles en contra nuestro\u201d, apunt\u00f3 el presidente palestino. \u201cNo creo que hemos atravesado decisiones como esa, ni una etapa tan peligrosa como esta\u201d. Abb\u00e1s calific\u00f3 \u201ch\u00e9roes\u201d a \u201cnuestro pueblo\u201d, y les inst\u00f3 a \u201cfortalecer nuestra f\u00e9rrea posici\u00f3n\u201d.<\/p>\n

Por su parte, el grupo terrorista isl\u00e1mico Ham\u00e1s que controla la Franja de Gaza calific\u00f3 la reuni\u00f3n de los l\u00edderes de la OLP de \u201cilegal\u201d y dijo que durante su desarrollo se estima que se tomar\u00e1n decisiones \u201cunilaterales que no son nacionales\u201d y por lo tanto, decidi\u00f3 realizar una contramanifestaci\u00f3n con la participaci\u00f3n de todas las facciones palestinas. Paralelamente, fuentes palestinas dijeron que Egipto presion\u00f3 a Abb\u00e1s para que no tome decisiones extremas sobre Gaza que podr\u00edan da\u00f1ar los esfuerzos de reconciliaci\u00f3n entre el movimiento Fatah (columna vertebral de la OLP y la AP) y Hamas.<\/p>\n

\u201cEl Comit\u00e9 Central aumenta la divisi\u00f3n interna palestina, la reuni\u00f3n del Consejo es ileg\u00edtima y por lo tanto tambi\u00e9n lo son las decisiones del Consejo\u201d, dijo Fahiz Barhum, portavoz de Ham\u00e1s quien asegur\u00f3 que su organizaci\u00f3n no permitir\u00e1 que Fatah mande sobre el pueblo palestino.<\/p>\n
