El ministro de Defensa, Avigdor Liberman, anunci\u00f3 hoy que el subjefe del Estado Mayor, mayor general Aviv Kochavi, suceder\u00e1 al teniente general Gadi Eisenkot como el pr\u00f3ximo jefe del Estado Mayor de las Fuerzas de Defensa de Israel.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Liberman presentar\u00e1 la nominaci\u00f3n de Kochavi el domingo al ex juez de la Corte Eliezer Goldberg, quien encabeza el comit\u00e9 asesor sobre nombramientos de alto nivel.<\/p>\n

El Ministro de Defensa inform\u00f3 al Primer Ministro Benjam\u00edn Netanyahu y al Teniente General Eizenkot de su decisi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n

Kochavi est\u00e1 dotado de \u00abliderazgo, audacia, creatividad e impresionantes cualidades de mando\u00bb, dijo Liberman.<\/p>\n

Asimismo, el ministro tambi\u00e9n habl\u00f3 con los otros tres candidatos para el nombramiento y les inform\u00f3 de la selecci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n
