Ahed Tamimi es una joven palestina que ha protagonizado a lo largo de su corta vida muchos v\u00eddeos grabados por su propia madre, en los que se la ve agrediendo (con trompadas, bofetadas, patadas, escupitajos y mordiscos) a soldados israel\u00edes.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

La \u00faltima vez que lo hizo, a diferencia de las anteriores, hab\u00eda cumplido los 17 a\u00f1os, edad que, para la justicia militar que se imparte en su \u00e1rea de residencia -dado que se trata de unos territorios en disputa (no ocupados ni anexados como la mayor\u00eda de medios insisten sesgadamente en denominar)-, la convierte en mayor y responsable de sus actos.<\/p>\n

Como tal fue sometida a juicio, defendida, sentenciada y encarcelada durante ocho meses. Los medios espa\u00f1oles (entre otros) pusieron el grito en el cielo y la adjetivaron como \u201cmenor\u201d aunque, no han tenido el menor reparo en publicar su foto, no s\u00f3lo la actual sino otras a m\u00e1s tierna edad. No he visto por ello ninguna actuaci\u00f3n de los defensores de los derechos de los menores.<\/p>\n

La mayor\u00eda de edad penal var\u00eda mucho seg\u00fan los pa\u00edses, no s\u00f3lo para ser juzgado y encarcelado, sino incluso para casarse y formar familia. En las sociedades m\u00e1s tradicionales no es extra\u00f1o que ni\u00f1as de 12 y 13 a\u00f1os sean obligadas a tener sexo e hijos con hombres mucho mayores con los que la familia pacta una boda. En las sociedades m\u00e1s beligerantes, los adolescentes son reclutados a la fuerza (\u201cni\u00f1os soldado\u201d) o educados para participar en acciones terroristas. Recientemente un estudio sobre los libros de texto para menores palestinos (no s\u00f3lo los de Ham\u00e1s, tambi\u00e9n los de la Autoridad Palestina) concluye que incitan de forma flagrante al odio al jud\u00edo y al israel\u00ed.<\/p>\n

De vez en cuando leemos la noticia de un menor muerto o herido mientras participaba en acciones violentas en la valla fronteriza de Gaza con Israel y uno se pregunta si los padres sab\u00edan que estaban corriendo ese peligro o, incluso, si no fueron ellos mismos quienes los enviaron all\u00ed. Por incomprensible y antinatural que nos parezca, hay madres que sue\u00f1an con que sus peque\u00f1os y peque\u00f1as se conviertan en m\u00e1rtires asesinos.<\/p>\n

La minor\u00eda de edad no es un escudo ante el mal, sino campo abonado para la implantaci\u00f3n de ideas radicales. La falta de experiencia para valorar las consecuencias de sus actos (que es lo que, en definitiva, los deber\u00eda hacer inimputables) los convierte en mu\u00f1ecos a los que los fan\u00e1ticos dan cuerda para actuar como escudos humanos y avanzadilla del mal.<\/p>\n

Este sacrificio constituye para ellos un \u201cmal menor\u201d, seg\u00fan un principio \u00e9tico que prefiere inmolar el futuro antes que abandonar la v\u00eda de la violencia. Sirva de ejemplo la propia t\u00eda de Ahed, Ahlam, que planific\u00f3 un atentado terrorista en 2001 contra una pizzer\u00eda en el que murieron 15 personas y 130 fueron heridas, pero que llev\u00f3 a cabo otra persona.<\/p>\n

Hoy, como su sobrina y otros miembros de esa familia, protagonizan campa\u00f1as de manipulaci\u00f3n medi\u00e1tica con homenajes como los que recientemente le han brindado el club Real Madrid y el ayuntamiento de esta ciudad. El mal ya tiene nueva princesa.<\/p>\n
