El ministro de Defensa de Ir\u00e1n, Amir Hatami, finaliz\u00f3 una rara visita a Damasco para la firma de un acuerdo de cooperaci\u00f3n militar con el Ej\u00e9rcito sirio, e insinu\u00f3 la intenci\u00f3n de la Rep\u00fablica Isl\u00e1mica en \u201cayudar a la reconstrucci\u00f3n\u201d de las ciudades \u201cque fueron bombardeadas, arrasadas o sufrieron graves atentados en Siria\u201d.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Hatami se reuni\u00f3 con el presidente sirio, Bashar al Assad, y con su hom\u00f3logo sirio, general Ali Abdullah Ayyoub.<\/p>\n

\u201cLa presencia de las fuerzas iran\u00edes en Siria es un requerimiento de Damasco y ning\u00fan otro pa\u00eds tiene el derecho de expresar su opini\u00f3n sobre esta presencia\u201d, afirm\u00f3 Hatami como duro mensaje a Israel, que rechaza el afianzamiento militar de Ir\u00e1n en el pa\u00eds \u00e1rabe vecino, durante una entrevista ofrecida al canal satelital liban\u00e9s Al Mayadeen.<\/p>\n

Hatami calific\u00f3 la reuni\u00f3n con Assad como \u201cmuy buena\u201d y apunt\u00f3 que \u201cel eje de la resistencia est\u00e1 preparado y listo para responder siempre ante cualquier ataque contra Siria\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cEl gobierno sirio y sus aliados est\u00e1n listos para responder a cualquier ataque. Las relaciones entre Ir\u00e1n y Siria nunca han sido tan fuertes y amistosas, y la cooperaci\u00f3n tambi\u00e9n es m\u00e1s fuerte que nunca \u201c, puntualiz\u00f3 Hatami al canal liban\u00e9s afiliado al grupo terrorista chi\u00ed Hezbollah.<\/p>\n

Hatami detall\u00f3 que en el acuerdo firmado, Ir\u00e1n se compromete a reconstruir el ej\u00e9rcito sirio.<\/p>\n

\u201cFirmamos un acuerdo con Siria, y la cl\u00e1usula m\u00e1s importante es la reconstrucci\u00f3n de las fuerzas militares en el pa\u00eds\u201d, apunt\u00f3. \u201cA trav\u00e9s de este acuerdo, hemos allanado el camino para el restablecimiento de las industrias de defensa sirias\u201d.<\/p>\n
