El proyecto consiste en un muro a lo largo de 65 kil\u00f3metros, y est\u00e1 dotado de sensores electr\u00f3nicos para detectar cualquier intento de perforaci\u00f3n.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

El gobierno de Israel inici\u00f3 los trabajos de construcci\u00f3n de una barrera submarina en la delimitaci\u00f3n mar\u00edtima con la Franja de Gaza con el fin de \u00abprevenir infiltraciones\u00bb, anunci\u00f3 el Ministerio de Defensa.<\/p>\n

\u00abEsta acci\u00f3n frustrar\u00e1 los objetivos de Ham\u00e1s, que perder\u00e1 otra capacidad estrat\u00e9gica y enormes cantidades de dinero\u00bb, declar\u00f3 el titular de Defensa, Avigdor Lieberman, sobre el control del movimiento islamista en el enclave costero, y al que hace responsable de incursiones en territorio israel\u00ed.<\/p>\n

La barrera, \u00abun tipo de muelle impermeable \u00fanico en el mundo\u00bb, consistir\u00e1 en tres capas, incluyendo una debajo del nivel del mar, y estar\u00e1 completa en el plazo de un a\u00f1o, seg\u00fan un comunicado oficial.<\/p>\n

El objetivo del establecimiento de este obst\u00e1culo es prevenir \u00abinfiltraciones\u00bb, como las sucedidas durante 2014 sobre el enclave costero, cuando un grupo de Ham\u00e1s consigui\u00f3 nadar hasta la costa israel\u00ed.<\/p>\n

\u00abLa nueva respuesta a la amenaza a la seguridad fue dise\u00f1ada para resistir las condiciones del mar y servir al establecimiento de defensa durante a\u00f1os\u00bb, remarc\u00f3 el comunicado.<\/p>\n

Lieberman advirti\u00f3 de que Israel continuar\u00e1 \u00abdefendiendo a los ciudadanos israel\u00edes con fortaleza y sofisticaci\u00f3n\u00bb.<\/p>\n

Las autoridades israel\u00edes tambi\u00e9n est\u00e1n construyendo una barrera subterr\u00e1nea en la frontera terrestre con Gaza para neutralizar los t\u00faneles de infiltraci\u00f3n de las milicias armadas palestinas.<\/p>\n
