Estados Unidos se mostr\u00f3 en contra de un borrador de Resoluci\u00f3n del Consejo de Seguridad de la ONU que pretend\u00eda expresar su \u00abgrave preocupaci\u00f3n\u00bb por la respuesta de las Fuerzas de Defensa de Israel a disturbios violentos en la frontera con Gaza.<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Estados Unidos bloque\u00f3 un borrador del comunicado del Consejo de Seguridad de la ONU expresando \u00abuna gran preocupaci\u00f3n por la situaci\u00f3n en la frontera\u00bb tras la marcha de protesta del \u00abD\u00eda de la Tierra\u00bb en la que unos 30.000 manifestantes se amotinaron violentamente en la frontera entre Israel y Gaza. Las fuerzas israel\u00edes mataron a hasta 17 manifestantes armados durante los disturbios.<\/span><\/p>\n

Seg\u00fan la <\/span>AFP<\/span><\/em>, el proyecto de declaraci\u00f3n del consejo presentado por Kuwait exig\u00eda una \u00abinvestigaci\u00f3n independiente y transparente de la violencia\u00bb y \u00abped\u00eda a todas las partes que ejercieran moderaci\u00f3n y evitaran una nueva escalada\u00bb. El borrador tambi\u00e9n se refer\u00eda al \u00abderecho de los palestinos\u00bb a la protesta pac\u00edfica \u00aby expres\u00f3 su dolor por la p\u00e9rdida de vidas palestinas inocentes\u00bb.<\/span><\/p>\n

El secretario general de la ONU, Antonio Guterres, llam\u00f3 el s\u00e1bado a \u00ablos interesados \u200b\u200ba abstenerse de cualquier acto que pueda ocasionar m\u00e1s bajas\u00bb.<\/span><\/p>\n

En respuesta a los pedidos de investigaci\u00f3n, el ministro de Defensa israel\u00ed, Avigdor Lieberman, explic\u00f3 que el \u00abintento de romper la valla\u00bb se llev\u00f3 a cabo espec\u00edficamente para \u00abda\u00f1ar nuestra soberan\u00eda\u00bb.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00abCualquier estado cuyas fronteras la gente tratara de romper actuar\u00eda de una manera a\u00fan m\u00e1s severa que nosotros, y por lo tanto, la procesi\u00f3n de hip\u00f3critas que exige una comisi\u00f3n de investigaci\u00f3n debe comprender que no habr\u00e1 tal cosa\u00bb, declar\u00f3 Lieberman. \u00abNo habr\u00e1 ninguna investigaci\u00f3n internacional.
