La historia es m\u00e1s o menos conocida. Bereshit cuenta c\u00f3mo se form\u00f3 la primera \u201cfamilia\u201d jud\u00eda, bene Israel , mientras que el libro de Shemot nos cuenta c\u00f3mo se form\u00f3 el \u201cpueblo\u201d jud\u00edo, am Israel.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>La Tor\u00e1 no es un libro com\u00fan. Entre las cosas que hacen que la Tor\u00e1 sea un libro \u00fanico es que \u201cdetr\u00e1s\u201d de la trama principal se esconden sub-historias entretejidas con la trama principal, pero de alguna forma independientes de ella. Les cuento una. Hermandad vs.envidia.<\/p>\n<p>La tensi\u00f3n entre hermanos ya se nota desde el comienzo, Cain y Abel. En este caso la envidia se genera por la atenci\u00f3n Divina. HaShem acept\u00f3 el sacrificio de Abel y rechaz\u00f3 el de Cain. Y Cain, en lugar de esforzarse para hacerlo mejor como le sugiri\u00f3 su creador, decidi\u00f3 que era m\u00e1s f\u00e1cil matar (literalmente!) a la competencia.<\/p>\n<p>Veinte generaciones despu\u00e9s, Yishma\u2019el, de acuerdo al Midrash, trat\u00f3 de matar a su hermano Isaac, el favorito de Abraham.<br \/>\nLos hijos de Isaac, Ya\u2019aqob y Esav, que eran mellizos, compiten desde el vientre materno por la primogenitura. Despu\u00e9s de lo que sucedi\u00f3 con la bendici\u00f3n de Isaac, Esav amenaza de muerte a Ya\u2019aqob. Al final hay una reconciliaci\u00f3n, pero para que la fraternidad se mantenga, los hermanos, ir\u00f3nicamente, tienen que vivir separados.<\/p>\n<p>El punto m\u00e1ximo de tensi\u00f3n entre hermanos llega con los hijos de Ya\u2019aqob. Yosef, que goza del favor de su pap\u00e1, despierta la envidia de sus hermanos. Y esta envidia se transforma en odio. Y este odio en planear el asesinato de Yosef. Al final, terminan vendi\u00e9ndolo como esclavo, que era casi una sentencia de muerte, y lo dan por \u201cdesaparecido\u201d.<br \/>\nDespu\u00e9s de 20 a\u00f1os, los hermanos expresan su arrepentimiento por lo que hicieron y en un enorme acto de altruismo Yosef los perdona. Y as\u00ed, aparentemente, se cierra el cap\u00edtulo de envidia y resentimiento entre hermanos que comenz\u00f3 con los primeros habitantes de la tierra.<\/p>\n<p>Pero Bereshit a\u00fan no termin\u00f3. Y la historia de la hermandad contin\u00faa. Pero ahora va en ascenso. Los \u00faltimos hermanos mencionados en Bereshit son los hijos de Yosef: Efraim y Menash\u00e9. Por primera vez es el abuelo y no el padre el que les otorga la primogenitura y decide a qui\u00e9n le corresponde. Ya\u2019aqob los bendice \u201cponiendo a Efraim, el menor, antes que al mayor, Menash\u00e9\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Y cuando parece que las heridas se van a volver a abrir, y que Menash\u00e9 va a amenazar, matar o vender a Efraim\u2026 nada de eso sucede. Menash\u00e9, a pesar de tener razones para envidiar a su hermano, que ahora es m\u00e1s o tiene m\u00e1s que \u00e9l, vive en paz con \u00e9l. Por primera vez el amor entre hermanos super\u00f3 el poder de la envidia. Menash\u00e9 pasa con \u00e9xito la prueba de la envidia fraternal y as\u00ed termina el libro de Bereshit (digamos de paso que por esta raz\u00f3n bendecimos a nuestros hijos con la bendici\u00f3n de Efraim y Menash\u00e9. Para desearles que aparte de buenos hijos, sean tambi\u00e9n buenos hermanos).<\/p>\n<p>Ahora comienza el otro libro, Shemot. Que tambi\u00e9n tiene sub-historias entretejidas con la historia principal. La historia principal cuenta que Mosh\u00e9 es asignado como el enviado de HaShem para rescatar a Israel del cautiverio. Mosh\u00e9 pide ayuda para su misi\u00f3n y HaShem le env\u00eda como asistente a \u2026 \u00a1su hermano Ahar\u00f3n! Esto es un gran problema potencial Ahar\u00f3n es el hermano mayor. Y seg\u00fan las normas de esos d\u00edas Ahar\u00f3n deber\u00eda ser el l\u00edder de la familia, para lo que fuera necesario\u2026. Ahora en cambio, Ahar\u00f3n va a ser el asistente de Mosh\u00e9, su sombra\u2026<\/p>\n<p>Ahora todos sospechamos que la envidia se va a sobreponer a la hermandad. Los m\u00e1s optimistas pueden suponer que Ahar\u00f3n no se va a enfadar. Y que siguiendo los pasos de Menash\u00e9, controlar\u00e1 su envidia.<br \/>\nPero la Tor\u00e1 nos tiene reservada una sorpresa, muy hermosa.<br \/>\nLa reacci\u00f3n de Ahar\u00f3n no ten\u00eda precedentes y nos demuestra lo mejor del ser humano. Ahar\u00f3n no s\u00f3lo que no envidia la posici\u00f3n de Mosh\u00e9. Ahar\u00f3n se alegra por Mosh\u00e9! \u05d5\u05e8\u05d0\u05da \u05d5\u05e9\u05de\u05d7 \u05d1\u05dc\u05d9\u05d1\u05d5, \u201cY cuando Ahar\u00f3n te vea, se alegrar\u00e1 en su coraz\u00f3n\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>El libro de Bereshit comenz\u00f3 con el fratricidio: un hermano matando al otro. Y progres\u00f3 hasta llegar a la harmon\u00eda fraternal \u00bfQu\u00e9 podr\u00eda ser m\u00e1s elevado que la aceptaci\u00f3n del \u00e9xito del otro? Ahar\u00f3n cambia la historia de la rivalidad entre hermanos en 180 grados. Y nos regal\u00f3 una de las lecciones m\u00e1s hermosas de la vida. Alegrarse por el \u00e9xito de un hermano.
