{"id":206560,"date":"2017-12-22T13:23:59","date_gmt":"2017-12-22T10:23:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kinsta.unitedwithisrael.org\/?p=206560\/"},"modified":"2017-12-22T16:20:03","modified_gmt":"2017-12-22T13:20:03","slug":"kosher-ya-es-casher","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kinsta.unitedwithisrael.org\/es\/kosher-ya-es-casher\/","title":{"rendered":"Kosher ya es casher"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"lead\">En estos d\u00edas, la Real Academia de la Lengua Espa\u00f1ola ha anunciado la incorporaci\u00f3n de nuevas palabras (de momento a la edici\u00f3n digital, hasta una nueva publicaci\u00f3n en papel), entre otras, kosher, que define en dos acepciones: la primera, \u201cdicho de un producto alimenticio, una comida, un men\u00fa, etc., obtenido o preparado seg\u00fan los preceptos del juda\u00edsmo\u201d; y la segunda, \u201cdicho de un establecimiento que vende o sirve productos kosher\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Sin duda es un bienvenido avance en el reconocimiento de la presencia de los jud\u00edos en las sociedades de habla hispana. Pero convendr\u00eda recordar algunos detalles. Por ejemplo, en la propia entrada del diccionario se recoge como fuente la expresi\u00f3n hebrea \u201ckasher\u201d, traducida como \u201ccorrecto, adecuado al rito\u201d. Lo que llama la atenci\u00f3n por qu\u00e9 entonces se ha optado por la utilizaci\u00f3n de una O y no una A como primera vocal. Resulta evidente que en realidad han adoptado una transliteraci\u00f3n habitual en el mundo angloparlante, donde no se usan tildes y la palabra en cuesti\u00f3n se pronuncia con acentuaci\u00f3n grave, lo que en espa\u00f1ol deber\u00eda transcribirse en ese caso como \u201ck\u00f3sher\u201d. Pero resulta que en el hebreo original y b\u00edblico (donde se estipulan dichas normas alimenticias) la acentuaci\u00f3n es aguda, de modo que lo m\u00e1s ajustado hubiera sido adoptar la palabra \u201ccasher\u201d (entre otras razones porque la k s\u00f3lo es \u00fatil cuando las expresiones est\u00e1n en lengua extranjera y no ya normalizadas al espa\u00f1ol).<\/p>\n<p>Lo importante, no obstante, es que el concepto del kosher ya es \u201ccasher\u201d, aunque para la mayor\u00eda de los espa\u00f1oles sea un completo desconocido (no tanto para los no jud\u00edos estadounidenses que buscan esa certificaci\u00f3n como garant\u00eda de calidad de producci\u00f3n) y sus normas exactas lo sean para la mayor\u00eda de los propios jud\u00edos no ortodoxos.<\/p>\n<p>No vamos a recordarlas aqu\u00ed, aunque s\u00ed detenernos a observar el origen del propio t\u00e9rmino, que en hebreo va m\u00e1s all\u00e1 de lo alimenticio e incluso de lo religioso, ya que con su misma ra\u00edz es posible construir, por ejemplo, \u201clehajshir\u201d, traducible como capacitar, inducir el desarrollo de talentos y habilidades. Por tanto ya estamos habilitados (mujshar\u00edm) para usar kosher en nuestro idioma sin tener que recurrir a cursivas o comillas, aunque el corrector ortogr\u00e1fico a\u00fan la subraye en rojo.<\/p>\n<p>Lista de deberes: hay una palabra hebrea, cuyo significado no se corresponde de forma total con ninguna existente en espa\u00f1ol, y de uso mucho m\u00e1s habitual, no s\u00f3lo entre los jud\u00edos, sino en la prensa e incluso la pol\u00edtica. Sho\u00e1. Una palabra que no se usaba para lo que se usa ahora antes del fen\u00f3meno que la gener\u00f3, y que recibi\u00f3 al principio, incluso de los jud\u00edos, otros nombres, pero que ha adquirido ya car\u00e1cter universal. Espero que pronto sea incorporada tambi\u00e9n a la legalidad ling\u00fc\u00edstica y, esta vez, sin dejarse arrastrar por transliteraciones inglesas como \u201cshoah\u201d (el sufijo \u2013ah es la manera angl\u00f3fona de acentuar la \u00faltima s\u00edlaba a falta de tildes).
