Sarah Idan, una joven que ostenta el t\u00edtulo de Miss Irak, y su familia debieron escapar de su pa\u00eds luego de que se difundiera una selfie que la reina de belleza se tom\u00f3 junto a Miss Israel.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Seg\u00fan relat\u00f3 Miss Israel, Adar Gandelsman, la iraqu\u00ed Sarah Idan tuvo que escapar a Estados Unidos. La propia Idan difundi\u00f3 el pasado viernes en Twitter un art\u00edculo sobre la huida de su familia: \u00abNo soy ni la primera ni la \u00faltima persona que se ve perseguida por una cuesti\u00f3n de libertad personal\u00bb.<\/p>\n

\u201cMe despert\u00e9 con llamadas de mi familia y de la Organizaci\u00f3n de Miss Irak desesperados. Las amenazas de muerte que recib\u00ed online daban mucho miedo\u201d, ha revelado ahora Idan, de 27 a\u00f1os, durante una entrevista con CNN.<\/p>\n

La joven, que aspira a ser cantante y tiene tambi\u00e9n nacionalidad de EE UU, ya hab\u00eda recibido amenazas por aparecer en bikini durante las fases previas del concurso, pero ahora sonaban mucho m\u00e1s serias. Tanto como para que su familia tuviera que abandonar Irak. Por eso ha guardado silencio hasta que sus padres y otros parientes han estado a salvo.<\/p>\n

La pol\u00e9mica se desat\u00f3 cuando la imagen comenz\u00f3 a circular en las redes sociales con dos mujeres que representan a pa\u00edses \u00abenemigos\u00bb, tras varios conflictos entre \u00e1rabes e israel\u00edes. Ella misma explic\u00f3 a trav\u00e9s de Instagram que con esa foto tan s\u00f3lo quiso expresar sus deseos de paz entre todos los pa\u00edses. No se trataba de apoyar al Gobierno israel\u00ed, puntualiz\u00f3.<\/p>\n

Las im\u00e1genes tambi\u00e9n causaron la indignaci\u00f3n en Irak de los sectores m\u00e1s tradicionales, puesto que la joven aparece en bikini. Ambas mujeres se fotografiaron juntas a mediados de noviembre durante la elecci\u00f3n de Miss Universo en Las Vegas y las fotos se difundieron a trav\u00e9s de Instagram. Idan escribi\u00f3 junto a la imagen: \u00abPaz y amor de Miss Irak y Miss Israel\u00bb.<\/p>\n

La reina de la belleza iraqu\u00ed, que naci\u00f3 en Bagdad, vive ahora en Estados Unidos. \u00abEs una mujer inteligente y lo hizo para que las personas entiendan que es posible convivir juntos\u00bb, dijo Gandelsman sobre ella, seg\u00fan Hadashot News. Idan y ella se conocieron en el segundo d\u00eda del concurso y se llevaron muy bien. \u00abDesde entonces estamos en contacto y hablamos continuamente\u00bb, dijo la israel\u00ed.
