El martes por la ma\u00f1ana, m\u00e1s de 1.000 jud\u00edos desafiaron una ola de calor abrasador para visitar el Monte del Templo en Tisha b’Av<\/em><\/a> , la fecha m\u00e1s triste en el calendario hebreo, mientras miles m\u00e1s se sentaron en el suelo – una tradicional se\u00f1al jud\u00eda de luto – en el Muro de los Lamentos, para conmemorar la destrucci\u00f3n de la antigua Jerusalem por el Imperio Romano en el a\u00f1o 70 dC.<\/p>\n

Un ni\u00f1o de 15 a\u00f1os, fue herido ligeramente cuando un fiel musulm\u00e1n le arroj\u00f3 una silla. Los oficiales de seguridad le dieron primeros auxilios y no requiri\u00f3 tratamiento adicional. El agresor no fue arrestado.<\/p>\n

Adem\u00e1s, seis personas fueron expulsadas por violar las reglas y cuatro personas fueron arrestadas cuando estall\u00f3 una pelea junto a la Puerta de la Cadena entre tres jud\u00edos y un hombre \u00e1rabe cuando el grupo abandon\u00f3 el Monte.<\/p>\n

A lo largo de la ma\u00f1ana, cientos de personas permanecieron en la l\u00ednea adyacente a la Puerta de Mughrabi, la \u00fanica entrada al Monte del Templo para no musulmanes, para visitar el sitio.<\/p>\n

Los visitantes jud\u00edos sufren una intensa seguridad<\/h2>\n

Al entrar en la rampa que conduc\u00eda al Monte, los visitantes jud\u00edos pasaron a trav\u00e9s de detectores de metales y controles de seguridad para asegurar que ning\u00fan objeto prohibido, incluyendo libros de oraci\u00f3n, art\u00edculos religiosos y banderas israel\u00edes, llegara hasta el Monte. Los oficiales informaron a los visitantes sobre las reglas de la visita, incluyendo prohibiciones en rezar.<\/p>\n

Los visitantes jud\u00edos tambi\u00e9n deb\u00edan dejar la identificaci\u00f3n en el puesto de control.<\/p>\n

Para dar cabida al n\u00famero sin precedentes de visitantes jud\u00edos, la polic\u00eda permiti\u00f3 que grandes grupos entraran al lugar, una pr\u00e1ctica que usualmente no suelen hacer, y eventualmente limit\u00f3 la presencia de los visitantes en el Monte a una ruta abreviada.<\/p>\n

El evento, la mayor visita de los jud\u00edos al Monte del Templo en a\u00f1os, se produce tras semanas de tensi\u00f3n en torno al lugar sagrado que comenz\u00f3 el 14 de julio, cuando tres terroristas \u00e1rabe-israel\u00edes asesinaron a dos polic\u00edas drusos israel\u00edes en el recinto.<\/p>\n
