La Rep\u00fablica de Vanuatu, un estado insular en el Oc\u00e9ano Pac\u00edfico, ha reconocido a Jerusalem como la capital de Israel.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

La peque\u00f1a naci\u00f3n insular del Pac\u00edfico de Vanuatu ha reconocido a Jerusalem como la capital de Israel. La decisi\u00f3n sigue a otra decisi\u00f3n de la\u00a0UNESCO (Naciones Unidas para la Educaci\u00f3n, la Ciencia y la Cultura) en contra de Israel<\/a>\u00a0en octubre 2016, que neg\u00f3 lazos jud\u00edos al Monte del Templo.<\/p>\n

El Presidente de Vanuatu Baldwin Lonsdale, un cristiano evang\u00e9lico, expres\u00f3 la\u00a0fuerte conexi\u00f3n de su territorio con el pueblo jud\u00edo y el Estado de Israel.
