Mientras Israel se prepara para celebrar su 69\u00ba aniversario, la Oficina Central de Estad\u00edsticas anunci\u00f3 el jueves que el estado jud\u00edo tiene hoy 8.680 millones de ciudadanos, 10 veces m\u00e1s que en su fundaci\u00f3n en 1948.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Seg\u00fan el informe, la poblaci\u00f3n jud\u00eda en el pa\u00eds representa 6.484 millones de residentes -74,7 por ciento de la poblaci\u00f3n total- y la poblaci\u00f3n \u00e1rabe asciende a 1.808 millones de personas -el 20.8% de los habitantes del pa\u00eds-.<\/p>\n

El 4,5% restante, aproximadamente 388.000 personas, representa a cristianos no \u00e1rabes y personas de otras religiones, as\u00ed como a aquellos sin afiliaci\u00f3n religiosa, la gran mayor\u00eda de ellos pertenecientes a la antigua Uni\u00f3n Sovi\u00e9tica.<\/p>\n

El informe citaba que en la fundaci\u00f3n del Estado, hab\u00eda 11,5 millones de jud\u00edos en el mundo, de los cuales el 6 por ciento viv\u00edan en Israel. En contraste, en 2015 hab\u00eda 14.411 millones de jud\u00edos en el mundo, 43% de los cuales viv\u00edan en Israel.<\/p>\n

El pa\u00eds se acerca r\u00e1pidamente al punto de inflexi\u00f3n donde la mayor\u00eda de los jud\u00edos del mundo vivir\u00e1n en Israel. Los datos tambi\u00e9n revelaron que se espera que la poblaci\u00f3n del Estado jud\u00edo llegue a m\u00e1s de 15 millones para 2048, cuando se cumplan 100 a\u00f1os de la fundaci\u00f3n de Israel.<\/p>\n

Desde el a\u00f1o pasado, la poblaci\u00f3n del pa\u00eds creci\u00f3 en unas 159 mil personas, marcando un aumento de 1.9%, seg\u00fan el informe. Adem\u00e1s, las cifras mostraron que 174 mil beb\u00e9s nacieron el a\u00f1o pasado, mientras que se registraron 44 mil muertes.<\/p>\n

Por otro lado, con respecto a la ali\u00e1, unos 30 mil inmigrantes llegaron a Israel el a\u00f1o pasado.<\/p>\n

Seg\u00fan el informe, tres cuartas partes de la poblaci\u00f3n jud\u00eda de Israel son sabras, los nativos de Israel. Esta cifra es m\u00e1s del doble del porcentaje registrado en 1948.<\/p>\n

Entre los jud\u00edos que viv\u00edan en Israel, alrededor del 44% se identificaron como seculares, el 24% identificados como tradicionales pero no religiosos, el 11% identificados como religiosos y el 9% identificados como ultraortodoxos.<\/p>\n
