Tras la sequ\u00eda en el lago Tiberias, el mar de Galilea lleg\u00f3 a su punto m\u00e1s bajo y los granjeros del norte del pa\u00eds advirtieron que van a tener que dejar de regar grandes hect\u00e1reas de tierra cultivada a menos que el gobierno se involucre.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

El mes de febrero fue el m\u00e1s seco del que se tenga registro, seg\u00fan informaron las autoridades que se ocupan del cuidado acu\u00e1tico. El nivel del agua es el m\u00e1s bajo en el \u00faltimo siglo.<\/p>\n

La fuente m\u00e1s importante de agua natural, tambi\u00e9n conocido como Lago del Kinneret, recibi\u00f3 tan solo un 10 por ciento de su porcentaje mensual de agua de lluvia.<\/p>\n

\u201cLa situaci\u00f3n es grave\u201d revel\u00f3 Amir Givati de la Autoridad Israel\u00ed responsable del agua natural y agreg\u00f3: \u201cEl lago cay\u00f3 a su nivel m\u00e1s bajo de todo el siglo\u201d.<\/p>\n

El punto en el que se encuentra el lago es llamado \u201cL\u00ednea Roja\u201d, dado que se encuentra 20 cent\u00edmetros por debajo de lo considerado como aceptable. Los expertos afirman que es una situaci\u00f3n que afecta a todo Medio Oriente.<\/p>\n

Los bajos niveles de lluvia afectan a la agricultura nacional, al medio ambiente y a la vida animal en el \u00e1rea, seg\u00fan mencion\u00f3 Givati.<\/p>\n
