El Departamento de Polic\u00eda de Nueva York est\u00e1 investigando un informe de posible vandalismo en un cementerio jud\u00edo de Brooklyn.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

El asamble\u00edsta dem\u00f3crata Dov Hikind twitte\u00f3 fotos mostrando algunas l\u00e1pidas derribadas en el suelo.<\/p>\n

Ser\u00eda el segundo cementerio jud\u00edo en el estado de Nueva York a ser vandalizado en la \u00faltima semana despu\u00e9s que cinco l\u00e1pidas fueron derribadas en un cementerio de Rochester el jueves pasado por la ma\u00f1ana.<\/p>\n

En las \u00faltimas dos semanas hubo vandalismo en cementerios jud\u00edos en Filadelfia y San Luis, as\u00ed como otras dos olas de amenazas de bomba en los centros comunitarios jud\u00edos, escuelas e instituciones de todo el pa\u00eds, que representan la cuarta y quinta ola de este tipo de hostigamiento en este a\u00f1o.<\/p>\n

Las autoridades dijeron que Juan Thompson, un ex periodista despedido por fabricar historias, hizo al menos ocho de las numerosas amenazas contra instituciones jud\u00edas en todo el pa\u00eds como parte de una campa\u00f1a para acosar a su ex novia.
\nLa semana pasada, el Departamento de Polic\u00eda de Nueva York dijo que los incidentes antisemitas aumentaron un 94 por ciento en la ciudad durante el mismo per\u00edodo del a\u00f1o pasado.<\/p>\n

La cifra es parte de un aumento del 55% en el n\u00famero de cr\u00edmenes de odio en la ciudad en comparaci\u00f3n con el mismo per\u00edodo del a\u00f1o pasado. Durante los dos primeros meses de 2017 y hasta la semana pasada se notificaron 35 incidentes antisemitas, en comparaci\u00f3n con 18 de febrero de 2016.<\/p>\n
