La l\u00edder del ultranacionalista Frente Nacional le dijo a France 2 TV que si resulta elegida no permitir\u00e1 a los ciudadanos franceses tener ciudadan\u00eda de un pa\u00eds no europeo. Cuando se le pregunt\u00f3 espec\u00edficamente sobre Israel y los jud\u00edos, que forman una gran comunidad en Francia, respondi\u00f3: \u201cIsrael no es miembro de la Uni\u00f3n Europea y no se considera como tal\u201d, y por lo tanto un doble franc\u00e9s -La ciudadan\u00eda israel\u00ed no ser\u00e1 permitida.<\/p>\n

Le Pen dijo que la prohibici\u00f3n tambi\u00e9n se aplicar\u00e1 a los ciudadanos de los Estados Unidos y los pa\u00edses del norte de \u00c1frica, pero no a los ciudadanos de la UE, o de lo que ella denomin\u00f3 como \u201cla Europa de las naciones\u201d, que incluye a Rusia.<\/p>\n
