La organizaci\u00f3n Isl\u00e1mica Ham\u00e1s responsabiliza a Israel por el asesinato del ingeniero aeron\u00e1utivo Mohammad al-Zawahri, asesinado en T\u00fanez este fin de semana. En Ham\u00e1s prometen vengar su muerte y que \u201csu sangre no ser\u00e1 derramada en vano\u201d. La polic\u00eda tunecina detuvo a 5 personas supuestamente vinculadas al asesinato.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Mohammad al-Zawahri era ingeniero aeron\u00e1utico, con alto rango en el ala militar de Ham\u00e1s, una figura clave en el sistema de producci\u00f3n de aviones no tripulados. A lo largo de los a\u00f1os se desplaz\u00f3 entre varios pa\u00edses, y seg\u00fan algunos testimonios, incluso visit\u00f3 la Franja de Gaza. De acuerdo con un informe publicado en L\u00edbano, en el pasado tambi\u00e9n ayud\u00f3 a la organizaci\u00f3n chiita Hezbollah en la construcci\u00f3n de sus propios drones.<\/p>\n

Al Zawahri se encontraba desde hace unos a\u00f1os en T\u00fanez, donde abri\u00f3 un centro civil de entrenamiento de pilotos y activaci\u00f3n de modelos aeron\u00e1uticos y dio entrevistas sobre sus actividades en varias ocasiones, en medios locales.<\/p>\n

Sus fotograf\u00edas actualizadas eran publicadas con frecuencia en las redes sociales de ese centro y no escond\u00eda su identidad ni su paradero. De acuerdo con algunas fuentes en la prensa \u00e1rabe, en ese centro entrenaba a hombres de Ham\u00e1s en la utilizaci\u00f3n de aviones no tripulados.<\/p>\n

La cadena Al Jazeera en T\u00fanez inform\u00f3 que el pasado jueves, varios hombres lo esperaron en la entrada a su vivienda \u2013 en la ciudad balnearia de Sfax, en el este del pa\u00eds \u2013 y le dispararon a quemarropa, al menos 20 proyectiles.
\nLa polic\u00eda local confisc\u00f3 cuatro veh\u00edculos \u2013 dos pertenecientes a una compa\u00f1\u00eda de alquiler de autom\u00f3viles \u2013 en uno de los cuales fueron halladas armas y silenciadores. Cinco personas fueron detenidas y las autoridades buscan a un sospechoso m\u00e1s. Tambi\u00e9n investigan si una supuesta periodista que vino a entrevistarlo desde Hungr\u00eda y sali\u00f3 del pa\u00eds un d\u00eda antes del asesinato tiene alguna vinculaci\u00f3n con el asesinato.<\/p>\n

La Brigada Ezzedin al Qassam \u2013 el brazo armado de Ham\u00e1s \u2013 difundi\u00f3 un comunicado en el que asegura que sus integrantes \u201clloran la muerte del m\u00e1rtir palestino, m\u00e1rtir de la naci\u00f3n \u00e1rabe y musulmana, el l\u00edder de al Qassam, ingeniero y piloto Mohammad Zawahri, que fue asesinado por manos traicioneras sionistas el jueves en Sfax\u201d.<\/p>\n

Tambi\u00e9n advirtieron que \u201cel enemigo debe saber la sangre del l\u00edder Zawahri no ser\u00e1 derramada en vano\u201d.
\nEn Ham\u00e1s informaron que al Zawahri hab\u00eda sido miembro de su ala militar durante los \u00faltimos 10 a\u00f1os. Tambi\u00e9n publicaron un poster en el que se lo ve junto a un avi\u00f3n no tripulado, en lo que parec\u00eda ser una sesi\u00f3n de entrenamiento. La imagen llevaba el logo del ala militar de Hamas y se refer\u00eda a al Zawahri como un comandante.<\/p>\n

Tras conocerse la noticia del asesinato, los diarios tunecinos de inmediato culparon al servicio secreto israel\u00ed, el Mossad, por el asesinato y aseguraron que agentes israel\u00edes lo segu\u00edan desde \u201chace bastante tiempo\u201d.<\/p>\n
