El Presidente de Israel, Reuven Rivlin, acogi\u00f3 a 53 ni\u00f1os en su casa que celebrar\u00e1n su mayor\u00eda de edad en un evento que pocos podr\u00e1n olvidar. Todos ellos son v\u00edctimas del terrorismo palestino tras haber perdido a un miembro de sus familia en un atentado terrorista.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

El Presidente de Israel, Reuven Rivlin, organiz\u00f3 un evento festivo en la residencia del presidente en Jerusalem el lunes por la noche para celebrar el Bar y Bat Mitzvah de 53 ni\u00f1os, v\u00edctimas de ataques terroristas palestinos.<\/p>\n

El evento,\u00a0 que se celebra anualmente<\/a>, fue el broche final de celebraci\u00f3n a\u00a0un d\u00eda lleno de actividades en Jerusalem para los ni\u00f1os, organizada por la Asociaci\u00f3n de V\u00edctimas del Terrorismo.<\/p>\n

En su discurso de apertura, el presidente felicit\u00f3 a los ni\u00f1os y ni\u00f1as que celebran su mayor\u00eda de edad, que, seg\u00fan el juda\u00edsmo,se marca la transici\u00f3n de la infancia a la edad adulta. El Presidente dijo que era un\u00a0privilegio poder participar con ellos \u00aben este acontecimiento feliz e importante\u00bb.<\/p>\n

Dirigi\u00e9ndose a los ni\u00f1os en este d\u00eda agridulce, Rivlin les dijo que \u00abcada uno lleva las cicatrices de la lucha de la naci\u00f3n jud\u00eda por su tierra natal\u00bb.<\/p>\n

Noa Meir, cuya madre Dafna fue asesinada por un terrorista palestino<\/a> a la entrada de su casa en Otniel el pasado mes de enero, cont\u00f3 c\u00f3mo hab\u00eda so\u00f1ado junto con su madre la planificaci\u00f3n de su fiesta de Mitzvah hasta altas horas de la noche.<\/p>\n

\u00abMi madre me ver\u00e1 a crecer y florecer, ella estar\u00e1 junto a m\u00ed desde lejos, y oren por m\u00ed. \u00a1La extra\u00f1o tanto!. Sent\u00ed su presencia durante mi fiesta de Mitzvah … su gran esp\u00edritu vive dentro de m\u00ed y me empujar\u00e1 hacia adelante para convertirme en una fuente de orgullo para mi madre\u00bb.<\/p>\n

Rivlin dijo que, si bien la mayor parte del mundo reconoce el derecho de Israel a su tierra, todav\u00eda hay personas que lo niegan y luchan contra ella. \u00abEsta guerra ha perjudicado a su infancia, la p\u00e9rdida es inmensa, pero es parte de nuestra lucha\u00bb.<\/p>\n

El Ministro de Bienestar Jaim Katz se\u00f1al\u00f3 que, aunque los ni\u00f1os no son\u00a0a\u00fan adultos, muchos de ellos se vieron obligados a madurar temprano, agregando que \u00e9l ve en su interior un brillante futuro para\u00a0Israel.<\/p>\n
