La direcci\u00f3n palestina ha elegido a un l\u00edder fracasado y d\u00e9bil para dirigir la organizaci\u00f3n\u00a0por otros cinco a\u00f1os. \u00a0<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

El partido pol\u00edtico palestino Fatah reeligi\u00f3 por unanimidad a\u00a0Mahmud Abbas como jefe del partido para los pr\u00f3ximos cinco a\u00f1os durante\u00a0la apertura de su congreso, la primera que se celebraba desde el a\u00f1o 2009.<\/p>\n

La reelecci\u00f3n de Abbas, quien tambi\u00e9n se desempe\u00f1a como presidente de la Autoridad Palestina (AP), llega a pesar de la creciente impopularidad y la disidencia interna dentro de la sociedad palestina.<\/p>\n

Abbas, que ha ocupado el cargo desde 2005, ha sido cada vez m\u00e1s cuestionado por otros l\u00edderes, incluyendo a su rival en el exilio Mohammad Dahlan, que reside actualmente en los Emiratos \u00c1rabes Unidos (EAU).<\/p>\n

Abbas es considerado por la calle palestina por\u00a0ser un dictador corrupto<\/a> .<\/p>\n

Alrededor de 1,400 miembros de Fatah se reunieron en Ramallah para la conferencia de cinco d\u00edas, y m\u00e1s tarde esta semana los delegados tendr\u00e1n elecciones para determinar el futuro del partido.<\/p>\n
