La Autoridad Palestina (AP) est\u00e1 preparando una propuesta en Unesco, la Organizaci\u00f3n de las Naciones Unidas para la Educaci\u00f3n, la Ciencia y la Cultura, exigiendo que Israel les entregue los Rollos del Mar Muerto, se\u00f1ala un reporte de la Radio de Israel (Kol Israel).<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Entre 1947 y 1956, se descubrieron 870 rollos, incluyendo el ejemplo completo m\u00e1s antiguo de los Diez Mandamientos en las Cuevas de Qumran, cerca del Mar Muerto.<\/p>\n

Qumran estaba bajo el Mandato Brit\u00e1nico y luego bajo la ocupaci\u00f3n jordana cuando los rollos fueron descubiertos, y actualmente se encuentran en el \u00c1rea C de Cisjordania (Judea y Samaria), que est\u00e1 bajo control civil y militar israel\u00ed.<\/p>\n

Algunos de los manuscritos m\u00e1s completos de los Rollos del Mar Muerto se exhiben actualmente en el Museo de Israel de Jerusalem.<\/p>\n

Cuando no est\u00e1n en exhibici\u00f3n, los rollos son guardados en una sala climatizada especialmente con las condiciones similares de humedad, temperatura y oscuridad similares a las de las Cuevas del Qumran donde fueron preservados durante dos mil a\u00f1os.<\/p>\n

El enviado de Israel ante la Unesco, Carmel Shama-Hacohen conden\u00f3 a la Autoridad Palestina por intentar presentar un reclamo por los Rollos del Mar Muerto.<\/p>\n
