El primer ministro, Biniam\u00edn Netanyahu, ofreci\u00f3 ayuda, en las tareas de rescate, a su hom\u00f3logo italiano pocas horas despu\u00e9s de que un poderoso terremoto de 6,6 grados de magnitud de la escala de Richter sacudiera el centro de Italia.<\/b><\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cMe gustar\u00eda decirle a mi amigo Matteo Renzi que Israel est\u00e1 preparado y dispuesto a enviar ayuda en lo mejor de sus capacidades\u201d, expres\u00f3 Netanyahu al inicio de la reuni\u00f3n semanal del Gabinete.<\/p>\n

El terremoto \u2013el tercero en poco m\u00e1s de dos meses- ha dejado a los habitantes, que ya estaban de por s\u00ed nerviosos, en p\u00e1nico y destruido numerosos edificios hist\u00f3ricos.<\/p>\n

Fabricio Curcio, jefe de la agencia nacional de defensa civil italiana, manifest\u00f3 que aparentemente no se han producido v\u00edctimas mortales por el sismo, que se sinti\u00f3 desde Roma a Venecia.<\/p>\n

\u201cEstamos revisando, hay varias personas heridas, pero por el momento no hemos tenido reportes de v\u00edctimas mortales\u201d, apunt\u00f3 en la ciudad de Rieti, en la provincia de Lacio.<\/p>\n

Italia emiti\u00f3 una advertencia de tsunami en el Mar Mediterr\u00e1neo.<\/p>\n

Las autoridades israel\u00edes afirmaron que las posibilidades de que una gran ola alcance las costas del pa\u00eds son extremadamente bajas.<\/p>\n

No obstante, el Ministerio de Defensa puntualiz\u00f3 que los equipos de emergencias est\u00e1n monitoreando la situaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n

El epicentro de terremoto fue localizado a una profundidad de seis kil\u00f3metros al norte de la peque\u00f1a ciudad de Norcia, seg\u00fan el Servicio Geol\u00f3gico de Estados Unidos, que estim\u00f3 que el sismo fue de una magnitud de 6,6.<\/p>\n

El Instituto de Geolog\u00eda Vulcano de Italia midi\u00f3 el terremoto en 6,5 puntos y precis\u00f3 que fue precedido de otro movimiento tel\u00farico de 6,1 grados de magnitud, una hora antes.<\/p>\n
