Alrededor de treinta mil cristianos, la mayor\u00eda evang\u00e9licos, llegados desde un centenar de pa\u00edses de todo el mundo, participaron en la Marcha de Jerusalem en apoyo al pueblo jud\u00edo y al Estado de Israel.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Desde hace d\u00e9cadas, la Embajada Cristiana Internacional de Jerusalem, un grupo cristiano evang\u00e9lico, organiza este multitudinario encuentro en coincidencia con la festividad jud\u00eda de Sucot (Fiesta de los Tabern\u00e1culos), que parte del Parque Sacker, cerca del Parlamento (Kneset) y paraliza el centro de la ciudad.<\/p>\n

A la marcha tambi\u00e9n asisten organizaciones locales, empresas, clubes deportivos, instituciones y soldados y veteranos del Ej\u00e9rcito de Defensa de Israel pero, sobre todo, est\u00e1 protagonizada por delegaciones de iglesias y creyentes de los cinco continentes que desfilan tras los estandartes de sus pa\u00edses de procedencia.<\/p>\n

Las corrientes cristianas evang\u00e9licas hacen una lectura literal de un cap\u00edtulo del G\u00e9nesis que sostiene que los \u201cgentiles\u201d (no jud\u00edos) deber\u00e1n respaldar a los jud\u00edos para que el Mes\u00edas pueda bendecir al mundo entero.<\/p>\n

Entre ellas destacaban los latinos y especialmente los brasile\u00f1os con miles de asistentes, como Luciana Sanpallo, que se confesaba emocionada por ser la primera vez que acud\u00eda al evento.<\/p>\n

\u201cEsta marcha pretende juntar a los pa\u00edses para cumplir las palabras b\u00edblicas que dice que todas las naciones van a subir a Jerusal\u00e9n para adorar al Rey de Reyes que es Jesucristo y aqu\u00ed estamos nosotros cumpliendo este mandamiento\u201d, argumenta el tambi\u00e9n brasile\u00f1o Saul Fern\u00e1ndez.<\/p>\n

Los cristianos evang\u00e9licos consideran que el retorno de los jud\u00edos a la Tierra Prometida es uno de los principales requisitos para que Jes\u00fas vuelva a la tierra por segunda vez y, por tanto, condici\u00f3n imprescindible para la redenci\u00f3n final.<\/p>\n

Seg\u00fan sus creencias, ser\u00e1 entonces cuando los jud\u00edos reconozcan a Jes\u00fas como el Mes\u00edas, lo que no hicieron hace dos milenios.<\/p>\n

Por ello, muestran su apoyo al Estado de Israel, la reagrupaci\u00f3n del pueblo jud\u00edo y el mantenimiento de una Jerusal\u00e9n unificada bajo bandera israel\u00ed, incluyendo la parte este de la ciudad, conquistada en 1967.<\/p>\n

En los m\u00e1rgenes de la marcha, los israel\u00edes se situaban en las vallas de protecci\u00f3n desde donde recib\u00edan las ovaciones, muestras de apoyo, banderas y regalos de los miles de visitantes.<\/p>\n

El israel\u00ed Ronen Levi, acude cada a\u00f1o como espectador, y poco despu\u00e9s de comenzar la marcha ya acumulaba en su mano las banderas de una decena de pa\u00edses que le iban entregando con fervor los asistentes como apoyo de sus naciones.<\/p>\n

\u201cDe verdad sentimos lo que los cristianos les han hecho desde el siglo IV (\u2026) Todos estos sufrimientos que han experimentado durante 1.700 a\u00f1os en el mundo cristiano es nuestra culpa\u201d, reza en uno de los volantes que repart\u00edan los cristianos coreanos.<\/p>\n

Julio C\u00e9sar Barma participa por quinta vez en esta marcha y es la cuarta que lo hace representando a Espa\u00f1a en nombre del Ministerio Bautista Internacional de Madrid y Salamanca.<\/p>\n

\u201cEspa\u00f1a tiene que ver mucho con Israel y el pueblo jud\u00edo y queremos brindarle nuestro apoyo y decirle que no est\u00e1 solo. Cuentan con nosotros y con nuestras oraciones\u201d, comenta Barma mientras camina alegremente junto a un grupo de tres iglesias espa\u00f1olas.<\/p>\n

\u201cDios bendiga a Israel\u201d se escuchaba una y otra vez entre la multitud visiblemente entregada a la celebraci\u00f3n y que se ha convertido en uno de los eventos principales de la semana de festividades jud\u00edas de Sucot.<\/p>\n
