\u201cTras la vergonzosa decisi\u00f3n de los miembros de la Unesco de negar la historia e ignorar miles de a\u00f1os de lazos jud\u00edos con Jerusalem y el Monte del Templo, he notificado a la Comisi\u00f3n Nacional de Israel para la Unesco que suspenda todas las actividades profesionales en la organizaci\u00f3n internacional\u201d, se\u00f1al\u00f3 el ministro de Cultura, Naftali Benet, en un comunicado.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

A su entender, la resoluci\u00f3n aprobada el jueves \u00absupone un apoyo inmediato al terror islamista\u00bb, y advierte que \u00ablos que recompensan a los que apoyan la yihad (guerra santa musulmana) en Jerusalem la misma semana que dos israel\u00edes fueron asesinados pueden ser las pr\u00f3ximas v\u00edctimas\u00bb.<\/p>\n

Benet cree que \u00ablos terroristas de ma\u00f1ana pueden recibir inspiraci\u00f3n y legitimaci\u00f3n en el acto deplorable de la Unesco\u00bb, y solicita al mundo que se oponga \u00ababiertamente y en voz alta\u00bb a la resoluci\u00f3n aprobada por la agencia de la ONU para la Educaci\u00f3n, la Ciencia y la Cultura a propuesta de Palestina.<\/p>\n

\u00abIgnorar la historia jud\u00eda en Jerusalem es el primer paso hacia un mundo apaciguando a los que se oponen al pluralismo religioso y cultural\u00bb, afirm\u00f3 el ministro israel\u00ed, que pidi\u00f3 a la Unesco que \u00abponga fin a este fiasco y deje de negar la historia antes de que su reputaci\u00f3n quede empa\u00f1ada y su profesionalidad sea olvidada\u00bb.<\/p>\n
