En lo que parece ser la primera evidencia f\u00edsica de la\u00a0presencia jud\u00eda antigua en Jordania, un grupo de\u00a0arque\u00f3logos descubrieron una menor\u00e1 tallada en un bloque de piedra en una iglesia.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Los arque\u00f3logos encontraron una menor\u00e1\u00a0en una iglesia bizantina de 1.400 a\u00f1os de antig\u00fcedad en Jordania. Esta proporciona la primera evidencia substancial de la presencia jud\u00eda en la antigua ciudad de Abila, que ya se sospechaba durante mucho tiempo que\u00a0pod\u00eda tener\u00a0una poblaci\u00f3n jud\u00eda importante.<\/p>\n

La menor\u00e1 de siete brazos con una rama de tres patas fue tallada en un bloque de piedra que se encontr\u00f3\u00a0en el segundo nivel de una pared en la iglesia bizantina del siglo VI o VII.<\/p>\n
