Tras no poder celebrar su Bar Mitzv\u00e1 hace 100 a\u00f1os, Yisrael Kristal, sobreviviente del Holocausto de casi el 113, pronto va a celebrar esa trascendental mayor\u00eda de edad.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

El sobreviviente del Holocausto israel\u00ed Yisrael Kristal, de\u00a0casi 113, y que se convirti\u00f3 hace escasos meses en la persona m\u00e1s vieja del mundo, celebrar\u00e1 su Bar Mitzvah pronto, un siglo despu\u00e9s de perder la ocasi\u00f3n durante la Primera Guerra Mundial<\/p>\n

En ese momento, su padre estaba sirviendo en el ej\u00e9rcito ruso y su madre hab\u00eda fallecido cuando \u00e9l ten\u00eda 10 a\u00f1os, por lo que su Bar Mitzv\u00e1 no se celebr\u00f3.<\/p>\n

La hija de Kristal Shulamit Kuperstoch dijo a la agencia alemana de noticias DPA que su familia estar\u00e1 con \u00e9l para celebrar esta gran fiesta.<\/p>\n

En marzo, fue declarado el hombre m\u00e1s viejo del mundo por el Libro Guinness de los R\u00e9cords.<\/p>\n

Kristal naci\u00f3 en 1903 en una familia jud\u00eda ortodoxa, cerca de la ciudad de Zarnow en Polonia. Se traslad\u00f3 a Lodz a trabajar en el negocio de una confiter\u00eda familiar en 1920. Durante la ocupaci\u00f3n nazi de Polonia fue confinado al ghetto y m\u00e1s tarde enviado a Auschwitz y a otros campos de concentraci\u00f3n. Su primera esposa y sus dos hijos fueron asesinados en el Holocausto.<\/p>\n

Kristal sobrevivi\u00f3 a la Segunda Guerra Mundial con un peso de s\u00f3lo 37 kilogramos (aproximadamente 81 libras) – el \u00fanico superviviente de su gran familia. Se volvi\u00f3 a casar y se traslad\u00f3 a Israel en 1950 con su segunda esposa y su hijo.<\/p>\n

En Israel, Kristal sigui\u00f3 creciendo tanto en su familia como en\u00a0su exitoso negocio de confiter\u00eda.<\/p>\n

\u00abEl Holocausto no afect\u00f3 a sus creencias\u00bb, dijo Kuperstoch al Jerusalem Post<\/em> en marzo. \u00ab\u00c9l cree que se salv\u00f3 porque eso es lo que Dios quer\u00eda. \u00c9l no es una persona enojada … cree que todo tiene una raz\u00f3n en el mundo.
