Debido a las amenazas antisemitas de muerte que recibi\u00f3 a trav\u00e9s de Facebook Ruth Smeeth, miembro del Parlamento brit\u00e1nico, se le proporcion\u00f3 protecci\u00f3n policial.<\/em> <\/strong><\/p>\n

Ruth Smeeth, de 37 a\u00f1os, recibi\u00f3 un mensaje amenazante de m\u00e1s de mil palabras, que entre otras cosas dec\u00eda \u00abla horca ser\u00eda un lugar apropiado y bien\u00bb para la parlamentaria.<\/p>\n

El mensaje tambi\u00e9n defend\u00eda la postura del l\u00edder laborista Jeremy Corbyn, pues Smeeth lo hab\u00eda criticado, si bien ella tambi\u00e9n es miembro del partido Laborista.<\/p>\n

Corbyn fue muy criticado en su momento por no haber tenido una clara postura en contra de quienes apoyaban el accionar terrorista fundamentalista palestino.<\/p>\n

El Jewish Chronicle inform\u00f3 que varias veces se refirieron a Ruth Smeeth como \u00abYid\u00bb, y el diario The Sum public\u00f3 declaraciones de la parlamentaria que sosten\u00eda que Corbyn es \u00abpersonalmente responsable\u00bb de las amenazas que hab\u00eda recibido.<\/p>\n

\u00abEspero que Jeremy muestre un verdadero liderazgo, lo que significa llamar a las personas a veces por su nombre para decir que lo que est\u00e1n haciendo es inaceptable. Debe ponerse de pie y decir basta, y no lo ha hecho en absoluto suficientemente todav\u00eda\u00bb, agreg\u00f3 Smeeth.<\/p>\n

La polic\u00eda anti-terroristas ha llevado a cabo dos investigaciones sobre las amenazas contra Smeeth desde julio.<\/p>\n
