Un oficial de la Unidad 669 de las Fuerzas de Defensa de Israel (IDF), que tradicionalmente rescata pilotos, forzados a abandonar sus aviones, y civiles en situaciones que amenazan la vida, como las inundaciones, asegur\u00f3 que la unidad hab\u00eda cambiado su modus operandi para situaciones de emergencia.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Seg\u00fan el oficial, la unidad ha comenzado a evacuar a los heridos de los campos de batalla con veh\u00edculos todo terreno y veh\u00edculos r\u00e1pidos de su divisi\u00f3n de aerotransporte. La IDF public\u00f3 im\u00e1genes de una serie de ejercicios de entrenamiento, que la unidad ha realizado en el \u00faltimo a\u00f1o, entre ellos el rescate de heridos desde el mar y desde submarinos.<\/p>\n

El primero de los equipos de la unidad, capacitados en las nuevas actividades, vio acci\u00f3n durante la Operaci\u00f3n Plomo Fundido en 2009, en el rescate de 83 heridos. De estos equipos, 10 estaban en acci\u00f3n durante Operaci\u00f3n Protecci\u00f3n del Borde en Gaza, hace dos a\u00f1os, donde se rescataron 276 soldados heridos del campo de batalla.<\/p>\n

En la unidad de aerotransporte, los equipos evacuan heridos a los helic\u00f3pteros que contienen miembros adicionales de la unidad. \u00abSimplemente salva a la gente\u00bb, dijo un oficial de la unidad.Por otra parte, miembros de la unidad tambi\u00e9n est\u00e1n involucrados en la localizaci\u00f3n y extracci\u00f3n de aviones no tripulados, que han ca\u00eddo en territorio enemigo. Seg\u00fan el oficial, el n\u00famero de rescates ha aumentado, en relaci\u00f3n con el creciente uso de aviones no tripulados. Como los drones son de gran importancia para la Fuerza A\u00e9rea, los equipos de rescate tambi\u00e9n se enviar\u00e1n en el territorio enemigo para rescatarlos.<\/p>\n

Miembros de la unidad tambi\u00e9n se encargaran de extraer aviones no tripulados que hayan ca\u00eddo en el mar, independientemente de lo lejos que se hayan hundido.<\/p>\n
