El Zar Alejandro I, despu\u00e9s de un per\u00edodo inicial de liberalismo, volvi\u00f3 a la posici\u00f3n anti-jud\u00eda de sus predecesores. El 10 de agosto de 1824 prohibi\u00f3 el asentamiento de jud\u00edos no rusos.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Comenz\u00f3 prohibi\u00e9ndoles a los jud\u00edos tener siervos cristianos y culmin\u00f3 poco antes de su muerte desterrando a todos los jud\u00edos de los pueblos m\u00e1s grandes en los distritos de Mohilev y Vitbesk.<\/p>\n

El 23 de marzo de 1801, Alejandro I lleg\u00f3 al trono tras el asesinato de su padre. Los conspiradores le permitieron entrar en su c\u00edrculo, convenci\u00e9ndolo de que no iban a matar al zar Pablo, sino a forzarlo a abdicar, para que Alejandro tomara el poder.<\/p>\n

Debido al resultado adverso, Alejandro sentir\u00eda un gran remordimiento y culpabilidad por haberse convertido en emperador mediante un crimen. Esto explicar\u00eda su inclinaci\u00f3n progresiva hacia la Iglesia Ortodoxa despu\u00e9s de las Guerras Napole\u00f3nicas y sus pol\u00edticas conservadoras desde entonces hasta su fallecimiento.<\/p>\n
