Tish’a beAb es el d\u00eda de duelo nacional para el pueblo jud\u00edo. Nuestros rabinos mencionaron cinco tragedias que ocurrieron el 9 de Av.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

1. JET HAMERAGUELIM<\/strong> (ca. 1300 aec): En el desierto, los jud\u00edos aceptaron el informe calumnioso de los diez exploradores. Lloraron y se quejaron a Dios por haberlos sacado de Egipto. Tambi\u00e9n sugirieron que el Todopoderoso no ser\u00eda capaz de ayudarlos en la conquista de la Tierra de Israel y derrotar a tantos enemigos. HaShem decret\u00f3 que todos los que ten\u00edan 20 a\u00f1os o m\u00e1s no entrar\u00edan a la Tierra Prometida. Por el contrario, iban a permanecer en el desierto durante cuarenta a\u00f1os, hasta que toda esa generaci\u00f3n desapareciera. La noche en la que los Yehudim lloraron y fueron condenados a morir en el desierto era Tish’a beAv.<\/p>\n

2. JURBAN HABAYIT HARISHON<\/strong> (586 aec): En los tiempos del rey Tsidqiahu, el 10 de Tebet, los Babilonios capturaron la ciudad de Jerusal\u00e9n. El asedio se mantuvo durante un a\u00f1o y medio. Los Yehudim no ten\u00edan provisiones, alimentos o madera. Miles de personas murieron de hambre o de brotes epid\u00e9micos. El 9 de Tamuz los babilonios destruyeron el muro que proteg\u00eda la cuidad y saquearon, mataron y destruyeron. A\u00fan as\u00ed, el Bet haMiqdash se mantuvo en funcionamiento hasta el d\u00eda 17 de Tamuz, cuando por primera vez desde los d\u00edas del \u00c9xodo de Egipto, se suspendi\u00f3 el sacrificio diario (Qorb\u00e1n haTamid). El 7 de Ab, los babilonios entraron en el Bet haMiqdash y lo profanaron. El 9 de Ab, cerca de la puesta del sol, los babilonios encendieron el fuego que incendio nuestro Bet haMiaqdash durante esa noche y durante todo el d\u00eda siguiente. Miles de jud\u00edos fueron asesinados, esclavizados o exiliados al imperio Babil\u00f3nico. 3. JURBAN HABAYIT HASHENI<\/strong>: En el a\u00f1o 68 de la era com\u00fan, el 17 de Tamuz los romanos rompieron los muros que proteg\u00edan Jerusalem e invadieron la ciudad santa. Durante las siguientes tres semanas saquearon la ciudad y destruyeron todo lo que vieron. En el noveno de Av, despu\u00e9s de profanar el santuario, Tito HaRasha destruy\u00f3 y quem\u00f3 nuestro Segundo Bet HaMiqdash. Cientos de miles de Yehudim fueron asesinados, vendidos como esclavos o exiliados. Los rabinos explicaron que los Yehudim estaban divididos y se peleaban entre ellos mismos (Sinat Jinam). Los Jajamim afirmaron que los romanos destruyeron un Bet haMiqdash que \u00abya estaba destruido por dentro\u00bb, y completamente vulnerable, ya que cuando los Yehudim no estamos unidos, la Presencia de HaShem no est\u00e1 con nosotros.<\/p>\n

4. NILKEDA BETAR<\/strong> : En el a\u00f1o 135 de la era com\u00fan, los jud\u00edos se rebelaron contra el imperio romano. Esta vez con la aprobaci\u00f3n de grandes rabinos y l\u00edderes jud\u00edos, entre ellos, Rabb\u00ed Aqib\u00e1.\u00a0 La rebeli\u00f3n de Bar Kojb\u00e1 fue aplastada por el emperador romano Adriano. La ciudad de Betar (los Sefaradim la llamamos \u00abBiter\u00bb), la \u00faltima resistencia de los jud\u00edos contra los romanos, fue capturada por el enemigo en Tisha be-Ab. Jerusalem se convirti\u00f3 en una ciudad pagana, y pas\u00f3 a llamarse Aelia Capitolina.\u00a0 El acceso a Jerusalem fue prohibido para los jud\u00edos.<\/p>\n
