Primero vamos a exponer la explicaci\u00f3n tradicional de este mandamiento y luego, bas\u00e1ndonos en un articulo del Rab Amar, veremos el tercer mandamiento desde una perspectiva distinta.<\/p>\n<p>1. El tercero de los diez mandamientos \u00abLO TISA\u00bb se refiere a la prohibici\u00f3n de jurar en el nombre de Dios en falso o innecesariamente (shebu&#8217;at shav). La tradici\u00f3n jud\u00eda entiende la palabra \u00abTISA\u00bb en este contexto como \u00abno invocar\u00e1s\u00bb el nombre de Dios en vano (en otros contextos la palabra TISA o NOSE se puede traducir como: llevar, cargar, tomar, etc.).<\/p>\n<p>De acuerdo a Maim\u00f3nides, la prohibici\u00f3n de invocar el nombre de HaShem se extiende tambi\u00e9n a recitar una bendici\u00f3n, beraj\u00e1, en vano. \u00bfPor qu\u00e9? Porque una shebu&#8217;a, un juramento, es b\u00e1sicamente una declaraci\u00f3n, la afirmaci\u00f3n de una creencia o un hecho. Una bendici\u00f3n ritual, por ejemplo, cuando decimos una beraj\u00e1 antes de comer, tambi\u00e9n es una declaraci\u00f3n. Afirmamos una idea o una creencia acerca de HaShem pronunciando Su nombre. Por ejemplo, cuando digo la bendici\u00f3n \u00abbor\u00e9 fer\u00ed ha&#8217;ets\u00bb, no estoy diciendo \u00abGracias a Dios por esta fruta\u00bb, literalmente estoy diciendo: \u00abBendito eres T\u00fa, HaShem, nuestro Dios, Rey del universo, (que eres el) Creador del fruto del \u00e1rbol \u00ab. En otras palabras, estoy afirmando y reconociendo que HaShem es el creador de este fruto. Por lo tanto, si pronuncio \u00e9sta u otra declaraci\u00f3n similar innecesariamente, \u00abinvocando el nombre de HaShem en vano\u00bb, estar\u00eda transgrediendo el tercer mandamiento, . Este es el origen del principio hal\u00e1jico: \u00absafeq berakhot lehaqel\u00bb, en una situaci\u00f3n en la que no estoy seguro si debo o no debo decir una beraj\u00e1, lo correcto es abstenerme, para no arriesgar a pronunciar una beraj\u00e1 innecesariamente (lebatal\u00e1) y transgredir el tercer mandamiento \u00abLO TISA\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>2. El rabino Shelomo Amar, hoy en d\u00eda Gran Rabino de Jerusalem, explica que este mandamiento se extiende tambi\u00e9n a un \u00e1rea diferente, muy sensible y quiz\u00e1s m\u00e1s aplicable. El Rab Amar expone la prohibici\u00f3n de la LO TISA como la advertencia de no \u00abllevar\/cargar\u00bb el nombre de Dios en vano o falsamente, simulando religiosidad o piedad.<\/p>\n<p>El Midrash nos trae la historia de un comerciante jud\u00edo que viajaba de ciudad en ciudad. Una vez lleg\u00f3 a un pueblo de Babilonia un viernes y tra\u00eda consigo una gran cantidad de dinero. \u00bfQue hizo? Fue a la sinagoga y vio un hombre rezando y vistiendo el Tefilin en su cabeza. Sin dudarlo mucho, le dio el dinero a este hombre y le pidi\u00f3 que cuidase de \u00e9l hasta despu\u00e9s de Shabbat. Cuando termin\u00f3 Shabbat, el comerciante fue a la casa de este hombre para retirar su dinero. Pero para su gran sorpresa el hombre lo enga\u00f1\u00f3 y le dijo que nunca lo hab\u00eda visto y que nunca recibi\u00f3 ning\u00fan dinero de \u00e9l&#8230; El comerciante fue a la sinagoga y rez\u00f3. Y en su plegaria le dijo a HaShem: \u00abSe\u00f1or del mundo, cuando yo vi a ese hombre en la sinagoga no confi\u00e9 en \u00e9l, ya que nunca antes lo vi, yo confi\u00e9 en TU nombre que \u00e9l \u00abllevaba\u00bb sobre su cabeza [en su Tefil\u00edn]\u00bb. Al final, la historia termin\u00f3 bien. Eliyahu haNabi le revel\u00f3 al comerciante en sus sue\u00f1os una clave secreta que le permiti\u00f3 acceder a la propiedad del ladr\u00f3n y recuperar su dinero.<\/p>\n<p>Los Jajamim traen el caso de este hombre que fing\u00eda ser piadoso como una ilustraci\u00f3n del tercer mandamiento: \u00abNo llevar\u00e1s el nombre de HaShem en vano\u00bb, falsamente. Llevar el nombre de HaShem, en este caso a trav\u00e9s del Tefilin que ese hombre llevaba sobre su cabeza (y creo que el mismo criterio se podr\u00eda aplicar a una Kip\u00e1 o cualquier otro s\u00edmbolo que me identifique como Yehud\u00ed observante) implica una tremenda responsabilidad que debemos saber honrar.
