La baja del d\u00f3lar contribuy\u00f3 a que los israel\u00edes aprovecharan los bajos costos relativos de los viajes internacionales, con un marcado incremento en comparaci\u00f3n al a\u00f1o pasado, de acuerdo con informaci\u00f3n de la Oficina Central de Estad\u00edsticas de Israel (CBS, por sus siglas en ingl\u00e9s).<\/p>\n

La primera mitad de 2016 experiment\u00f3 un aumento del 15,6 por ciento en el n\u00famero de israel\u00edes que volaron al extranjero cuando se compara con el mismo per\u00edodo de 2015. Esto se traduce en 2,55 millones de israel\u00edes que viajaron al exterior entre enero y junio de este a\u00f1o.<\/p>\n

Los datos de la CBS muestran 566.000 salidas israel\u00edes del pa\u00eds en junio, lo que supone un incremento del 15,3 por ciento respecto a junio de 2015.<\/p>\n

Mientras que los israel\u00edes viajan al extranjero en masa, el turismo a Israel no est\u00e1 demasiado bien. En la primera mitad de 2016, se registraron 1,38 millones de entradas por turismo a Israel, lo que produjo una disminuci\u00f3n del 1,3 por ciento de la primera mitad respecto al a\u00f1o anterior.<\/p>\n

Aquellos israel\u00edes que viajaron al extranjero visitaron Europa del Este (18 por ciento); tomaron sol en sus vacaciones en Rodas, Creta y Antalya (15 por ciento), Italia (12 por ciento); Am\u00e9rica del Norte (11 por ciento), la Pen\u00ednsula Ib\u00e9rica (11 por ciento) y el Reino Unido (6 por ciento).<\/p>\n
