El embajador de Venezuela ante las Naciones Unidas (ONU), Rafael Ram\u00edrez, hizo comentarios antisemitas en un discurso que dio el viernes en una reuni\u00f3n informal del Consejo de Seguridad de las Naciones Unidas (CSNU) sobre la \u00abprotecci\u00f3n\u00bb para el pueblo palestino.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

\u00ab\u00bfQu\u00e9 plan de Israel para hacer con los palestinos? \u00bfVan a hacerles desaparecer? \u00bfEst\u00e1 buscando\u00a0Israel librar una soluci\u00f3n final; misma\u00a0soluci\u00f3n que se ejerci\u00f3 contra los jud\u00edos?\u00bb.<\/p>\n

Ram\u00edrez hizo estas declaraciones escandalosas s\u00f3lo un d\u00eda despu\u00e9s de que Israel celebrara su anual D\u00eda de la Memoria del Holocausto<\/a>, en conmemoraci\u00f3n de los seis millones de v\u00edctimas jud\u00edas del Holocausto nazi.<\/p>\n

La sesi\u00f3n fue presidida por Egipto, Malasia, Senegal y Venezuela. Israel no asisti\u00f3. Los Estados Unidos y Gran Breta\u00f1a enviaron representantes de nivel inferior.<\/p>\n

El enviado de Israel a la Danny Danon ONU conden\u00f3 en\u00e9rgicamente las declaraciones del embajador de Venezuela diciendo, \u00abEsta declaraci\u00f3n del embajador de Venezuela es puro\u00a0antisemitismo contra el estado jud\u00edo. Sus observaciones son una continuaci\u00f3n directa que sigue a la declaraci\u00f3n del representante palestino hace unos d\u00edas comparando a Israel con los nazis \u00ab, dijo el embajador Danon.<\/p>\n

La semana pasada, el representante palestino ante la ONU, Riyad Mansour compar\u00f3 las acciones militares israel\u00edes a la represi\u00f3n del levantamiento de Varsovia por los nazis durante la Segunda Guerra Mundial.<\/p>\n

El Embajador Danon y la Misi\u00f3n de Israel trabajaron inmediatamente con los miembros de los funcionarios del Consejo de Seguridad de la ONU para asegurar que las declaraciones del venezolano fueran\u00a0condenados r\u00e1pidamente.<\/p>\n

Los Estados Unidos, Reino Unido y Francia condenaron inequ\u00edvocamente al embajador de Venezuela, que luego ofreci\u00f3 una disculpa parcial para el \u00abpueblo jud\u00edo si se escandalizaron por las observaciones\u00bb.<\/p>\n
