En las pr\u00f3ximas semanas, las FDI y el Mando Europeo de los Estados Unidos ser\u00e1n parte de un ejercicio de entrenamiento llamado Juniper Cobra 16. Cada dos a\u00f1os, nos unimos y mejoramos nuestras habilidades de defender a Israel. Como pa\u00edses que valoran la democracia, la libertad y la igualdad; nuestra cooperaci\u00f3n es un inter\u00e9s vital para nuestras naciones.<\/p>\n

Juntos, estaremos ejercitando nuestras capacidades de defensa contra misiles bal\u00edsticos, que ser\u00e1 esencial para mantener a salvo a Israel en cualquier conflicto futuro. Juniper Cobra es el octavo ejercicio que forma parte de los ejercicios bienales que existen entre los dos ej\u00e9rcitos desde el 2001, y adem\u00e1s, \u00a0es una parte importante del entrenamiento tanto del Mando Europeo de los Estados Unidos y las FDI. La planificaci\u00f3n comenz\u00f3 hace mas de un a\u00f1o y el ejercicio no est\u00e1 relacionado con los sucesos o eventos espec\u00edficos en la regi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n

Durante el ejercicio, mas de 1700 miembros del ej\u00e9rcito de los Estados Unidos, civiles y contratistas se unir\u00e1n junto a las FDI para simular retos inform\u00e1ticos que Israel pueda enfrentar en un futuro. Es una perfecta oportunidad para los Estados Unidos e Israel para mejorar a\u00fan m\u00e1s nuestra larga cooperaci\u00f3n militar.<\/p>\n

Este ejercicio es un acontecimiento significativo en las relaciones estrat\u00e9gicas entre los dos pa\u00edses, una alianza de seguridad incomparable con cualquier otro pa\u00eds del mundo. Esta colaboraci\u00f3n refleja el compromiso de proteger vidas civiles, as\u00ed como un profundo aprecio por las IDF, la FAI y el Sistema de defensa a\u00e9rea\u201d, dijo el General de Brigada Zvika Haimovich, Comandante de la Divisi\u00f3n de Defensa A\u00e9rea.<\/p>\n
