La sure\u00f1a ciudad israel\u00ed de Beer Sheva ha registrado un curioso\u00a0r\u00e9cord mundial: La ciudad israel\u00ed cuenta con el mayor n\u00famero de maestros de ajedrez per c\u00e1pita, con uno de cada 20.000.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Un ex funcionario del ajedrez sovi\u00e9tico y entrenador del club de ajedrez Spartak de Leningrado, Eliyahu Levant fue uno de los cerca de 140.000 jud\u00edos que emigraron a Israel desde la Uni\u00f3n\u00a0Sovi\u00e9tica en la d\u00e9cada de 1970. Eligi\u00f3 vivir en Beer Sheva.<\/p>\n
