El Vaticano emiti\u00f3 una declaraci\u00f3n sin precedentes diciendo que\u00a0el pueblo jud\u00edo es parte de la salvaci\u00f3n de Dios sin confesar expl\u00edcitamente a Jes\u00fas como su salvador, en un documento que incluye otros cambios en las ense\u00f1anzas de la Iglesia Cat\u00f3lica relacionados con las relaciones entre cristianos y jud\u00edos.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

La semana pasada, la Comisi\u00f3n Pontificia para las Relaciones Religiosas con los Jud\u00edos present\u00f3 el \u00abUna reflexi\u00f3n sobre cuestiones teol\u00f3gicas en Materia de Relaciones entre cat\u00f3licos y jud\u00edos\u00bb \u00a0durante una conferencia de prensa en el Vaticano con motivo del 50 aniversario de la declaraci\u00f3n \u00abNostra Aetate\u00bb, otro momento decisivo en las relaciones judeo-cristianas.<\/p>\n

\u00abQue los jud\u00edos participan en la salvaci\u00f3n de Dios es teol\u00f3gicamente incuestionable, siendo un misterio divino insondable que eso pueda ser posible sin confesar a Cristo de manera\u00a0expl\u00edcita\u00bb, dice el documento.<\/p>\n

Seg\u00fan el documento, los jud\u00edos son los \u00abhermanos mayores\u00bb de los cat\u00f3licos \u00aby\u00bb padres en la fe. \u00abLos cat\u00f3licos, afirma, debe rechazar las actividades institucionales que tratan de convertir a los jud\u00edos, pero pueden\u00bb de una manera humilde y sensible \u00abdar testimonio\u00bb a su fe en Jesucristo tambi\u00e9n para los jud\u00edos\u00bb.<\/p>\n

El rabino David Rosen, director internacional del Comit\u00e9 Jud\u00edo Americano para asuntos interreligiosos dijo que mientras Nostra Aetate \u00abrevolucion\u00f3 las ense\u00f1anzas cat\u00f3licas sobre los jud\u00edos\u00a0y el juda\u00edsmo\u00bb, la nueva \u00abReflexi\u00f3n sobre cuestiones teol\u00f3gicas\u00bb \u00bb expresa una creciente aprecio y respeto por la autocomprensi\u00f3n jud\u00eda, que se refleja en el reconocimiento del lugar de la Tor\u00e1 en la vida del pueblo jud\u00edo\u00bb.<\/p>\n
