Hoy por la noche, 18 de Diciembre, que corresponde al 25 del mes de Kislev, comenzaremos la celebraci\u00f3n de Januc\u00e1 encendiendo la primera vela.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Veremos cu\u00e1les son las instrucciones b\u00e1sicas para encender las velas la primera noche y tambi\u00e9n vamos a explicar qui\u00e9n NO est\u00e1 obligado a encender las velas.<\/p>\n

BENDICIONES<\/strong>
\nEl padre o la persona a cargo de la familia, recita las siguientes tres bendiciones la primera noche antes de encender las velas.

Despu\u00e9s de encender las velas decimos \u00abHanerot Halalu\u00bb. Esta es la traducci\u00f3n:<\/p>\n

\u00abEncendemos estas velas para [celebrar] los milagros y la salvaci\u00f3n, las maravillas y los portentos y el consuelo que concediste a nuestros padres en aquellos d\u00edas en esta \u00e9poca del a\u00f1o, a trav\u00e9s de Tus santos sacerdotes. Y durante los ocho d\u00edas de Januc\u00e1, estas llamitas son sagradas y no se nos permite hacer un uso ordinario de ellas. Son s\u00f3lo para que las miremos con el fin de expresar nuestra gratitud y alabanza a Tu gran Nombre por Tus milagros, Tus maravillas y Tu salvaci\u00f3n \u00ab.<\/p>\n

UNA MITSVA FAMILIAR<\/strong>
\nA diferencia de la mayor\u00eda de las Mitsvot (= mandamientos religiosos jud\u00edos), Januc\u00e1 NO es una mitsv\u00e1 individual como rezar o dar Tsedaq\u00e1, sino una mitsv\u00e1 que se realiza por familia. Es decir, que es suficiente encender una sola Januki\u00e1 por toda la familia y no es mandatorio que cada miembro de la familia encienda una vela.
\nA continuaci\u00f3n voy a presentar dos ilustraciones que nos ayudar\u00e1n a entender el aspecto pr\u00e1ctico de esta halaj\u00e1.<\/p>\n

Ejemplo A:
\n1. Un hijo o una hija que vive fuera de la ciudad, por ejemplo, en el extranjero, y est\u00e1 soltero o soltera, y todav\u00eda depende de sus padres, no tiene la obligaci\u00f3n de encender su propias velas de Januc\u00e1. Ya que, a estos efectos, el hijo o la hija todav\u00eda se consideran parte de la familia de sus padres mientras dependan econ\u00f3micamente de sus padres (somej al shuljan abiv). Por lo tanto, este hijo o hija cumplir\u00e1 su obligaci\u00f3n como miembro de su familia cuando en casa de sus padres enciendan las velas de Januc\u00e1.
\n2. Si estos hijos, que est\u00e1n en el exterior, igualmente quieren encender las velas en su habitaci\u00f3n, lo podr\u00e1n hacer, pero sin decir la Beraj\u00e1, ya que la beraj\u00e1 por el cumplimiento de una Mitsv\u00e1 s\u00f3lo se dice cuando uno est\u00e1 obligado a realizar esa Mitsv\u00e1.
\n3. Si el hijo o la hija, aunque todav\u00eda est\u00e9n solteros, viven en su propia casa y son econ\u00f3micamente independientes de sus padres, deber\u00e1n encender sus propias velas de Januc\u00e1 recitando la correspondiente Beraj\u00e1.<\/p>\n

Ejemplo B:
\n1. Si el marido est\u00e1, por ejemplo, en un viaje de negocios fuera de la ciudad, su esposa podr\u00e1 encender las velas de Januc\u00e1 en su casa con sus hijos etc., y \u00e9l estar\u00e1 incluido en el encendido de las velas realizado por su esposa. En otras palabras, en este caso el marido no tendr\u00e1 la obligaci\u00f3n que encender sus propias velas de Januc\u00e1 en la habitaci\u00f3n de su hotel o donde quiera que se encuentre.
\n2. Si \u00e9l igualmente desea encender las velas en su habitaci\u00f3n, lo podr\u00e1 hacer, pero sin decir la Beraj\u00e1.<\/p>\n
