Otro descubrimiento hist\u00f3rico en Israel.\u00a0La prensa de oliva es una prueba de que adem\u00e1s de ser la capital del antiguo Israel durante\u00a0369 a\u00f1os y que alberga el Arca de la Alianza, Shilo fue tambi\u00e9n el\u00a0principal fabricante de aceite de oliva de la regi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n

Los investigadores llegaron a la conclusi\u00f3n debido al gran tama\u00f1o de la almazara descubierta durante la reciente excavaci\u00f3n en Tel Shilo, encabezado por el arque\u00f3logo Dr. Ofer Gat. Otra almazara fue encontrada cerca en 2011. Los tama\u00f1os de las prensas y su proximidad entre s\u00ed indican el car\u00e1cter p\u00fablico de la industria, su importancia y su alcance.<\/p>\n

Un amplio stock de huesos de aceituna carbonizados fueron encontrados cerca de la prensa, junto con fragmentos de velas de terracota y conos de luz caracter\u00edsticos de ese per\u00edodo.<\/p>\n
