Terroristas isl\u00e1micos asesinaron a Shmuel Benalal mientras estaba en Mal\u00ed en una misi\u00f3n educativa.\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Un israel\u00ed fue uno de los 21 rehenes asesinados durante el \u00a0ataque terrorista isl\u00e1mico en un hotel en la capital de Mal\u00ed, Bamako<\/a>, el viernes.<\/p>\n

Shmuel Benhalal, de 60 a\u00f1os, residente de\u00a0Tzur Hadassah, cerca de Jerusalem, era el jefe de un grupo de consultor\u00eda educativa internacional y se encontraba en el pa\u00eds africano para ayudar\u00a0al gobierno de Mal\u00ed en la mejora de su sistema de educaci\u00f3n cuando fue asesinado.<\/p>\n

Otro israel\u00ed que estaba en el hotel Radisson Blu cuando los terroristas islamistas irrumpieron en el edificio fue rescatado por comandos de Mal\u00ed, junto con unos 170 rehenes y ya ha abandonado el pa\u00eds.<\/p>\n

Shmuel,\u00a0padre de tres hijos, Asher, Abi y Netanel era un educador israel\u00ed conocido que ha consultado a varios gobiernos, en su mayor\u00eda pa\u00edses del tercer mundo, sobre las formas de mejorar sus sistemas educativos. Esta no fue la primera visita de Shmuerl Benalal a Mal\u00ed.<\/p>\n

\u00abTrat\u00f3 de ayudar a los pa\u00edses del Tercer Mundo, para mejorar sus sistemas de educaci\u00f3n y dar esperanza a los j\u00f3venes\u00bb, dijo su amigo Tzvi Raviv. \u00abPerd\u00ed a un muy buen amigo, \u00e9l era como un hermano\u00bb, agreg\u00f3, a quien describi\u00f3 como \u00abun hombre que no pod\u00eda dejar de amar.\u00bb<\/p>\n

La organizaci\u00f3n Isl\u00e1mica Al Mourabitoun y al-Qaeda<\/a> en el Magreb Isl\u00e1mico (AQMI) se atribuyeron la responsabilidad por el ataque.<\/p>\n

Adem\u00e1s del ciudadano israel\u00ed, tres ejecutivos chinos, seis empleados de la aerol\u00ednea rusa, dos ciudadanos belgas y un estadounidense fueron asesinados\u00a0en el ataque. En total, 21 personas murieron.<\/p>\n
