Egipto seg\u00fan los informes, comenz\u00f3 a implementar su plan para inundar los t\u00faneles de contrabando de Hamas en la frontera con el Sina\u00ed.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Las guardias fronterizas egipcias del ej\u00e9rcito descubrieron y posteriormente destruyeron 12 t\u00faneles subterr\u00e1neos reci\u00e9n descubiertos\u00a0utilizados\u00a0de contrabando<\/a>\u00a0a trav\u00e9s de la frontera entre Gaza y Egipto en el norte de la pen\u00ednsula del Sina\u00ed, seg\u00fan dijeron fuentes de seguridad egipcias a la agencia palestina Maan<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Fuentes de seguridad egipcias dijeron que los guardias fronterizos del ej\u00e9rcito destruyeron los t\u00faneles en cooperaci\u00f3n con las fuerzas militares de ingenier\u00eda.<\/p>\n

El mes pasado, las autoridades egipcias anunciaron planes para llenar una zanja kilom\u00e9trica lo largo de la frontera de Gaza<\/a> con agua de mar que se utilizar\u00e1n para el cultivo de peces, destinados a prevenir la construcci\u00f3n de t\u00faneles de contrabando que se ejecutan bajo la frontera. De acuerdo con un <\/span>BBC, los egipcios han comenzado a implementar estos planes.<\/span><\/p>\n

Los t\u00faneles son utilizados por la organizaci\u00f3n terrorista Hamas, que gobierna Gaza, por contrabando de armas<\/a> y como fuente de ingresos <\/a>fiscales. Los t\u00faneles tambi\u00e9n suministran Gaza con cualquier cosa, desde cigarrillos a la ganader\u00eda y coches enteros.<\/p>\n

Egipto ha tratado de destruir los t\u00faneles como parte de una campa\u00f1a militar en curso en el norte del Sina\u00ed contra los terroristas isl\u00e1micos contra el r\u00e9gimen que, junto con Hamas, han llevado a cabo varios mort\u00edferos ataques contra las fuerzas de seguridad de Egipto<\/a>.<\/p>\n
