Defense Minister Katz: US-Israel Campaign Will Continue Without Time Limit

Defense Minister Israel Katz said Israel will continue its campaign against Iran without time limits until the objectives of the war are achieved, declaring that the remaining leadership of the Iranian regime has retreated into hiding as Israeli and American forces intensify operations across the region.

Katz made the remarks during a security assessment with IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir and senior commanders as Operation Roaring Lion”continues.

“The Iranian leadership that survived is fleeing like rats into tunnels, just like the Hamas leadership in Gaza,” Katz said. “From there they give orders to fire on civilians and children in Israel and across the region.”

Katz praised what he described as the strong operational achievements of the Israeli military working alongside the United States.

“I congratulate the very impressive achievements in both attack and defense and on the activity together with our American partner,” he said, adding that Iran’s leadership consists of “cowards who are brave only against women, children and the elderly in the streets.”

According to Katz, Israeli strikes have dealt heavy damage to Iran’s security forces, particularly the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and the Basij militia. He claimed that thousands of regime operatives have been killed in the campaign, accusing Iranian authorities of attempting to conceal the true scale of the losses by restricting internet access.

“We understand that the morgues in Iranian hospitals are filled with large numbers of Revolutionary Guards and Basij members,” Katz said. “We are talking about terror forces, not civilians, and the pressure must continue.”

The defense minister said Israel will continue targeting the regime’s leadership and strategic assets across Iran as part of the ongoing military effort.

“We will continue to strike the regime and its strategic targets in Tehran and throughout Iran day after day, target after target,” he said.

Katz also framed the campaign as part of a broader effort to weaken the Iranian regime and create conditions that could allow the Iranian public to challenge its rule.

“We will continue to act so that the Iranian people can rise up and remove this regime,” he said.

The operation, Katz added, is being carried out in close coordination with Washington.

“This campaign, led by U.S. President Donald Trump and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who speak and coordinate every day, and executed by you together with CENTCOM and the U.S. military, will continue without any time limit,” Katz said.

“It will continue as long as necessary, until we achieve all the objectives and decisively win the campaign.”
