Recently captured Iran-backed terrorist Mohammad Baqer Saad Dawood Al-Saadi plotted to assassinate Ivanka Trump and conducted surveillance of her Florida residence as part of a revenge campaign tied to the US killing of IRGC commander Qasem Soleimani, according to a report by the New York Post.

Al-Saadi, 32, reportedly made what sources described as a “pledge” to kill President Donald Trump’s daughter following Soleimani’s death in a US drone strike in Baghdad six years ago.

“After Qasem was killed, he [Al-Saadi] went around telling people ‘we need to kill Ivanka to burn down the house of Trump the way he burned down our house,’” Entifadh Qanbar, a former deputy military attaché at the Iraqi embassy in Washington, told The New York Post.

Qanbar also said Al-Saadi possessed plans connected to Ivanka Trump’s home in Florida.

“We heard that he had a plan of Ivanka’s house in Florida,” Qanbar said.

A second source cited by the newspaper also confirmed the alleged plot targeting Ivanka Trump.

According to the report, Al-Saadi posted a map on X showing the Florida enclave where Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner own a $24 million residence. The post included a message in Arabic translated as: “I say to the Americans look at this picture and know that neither your palaces nor the Secret Service will protect you. We are currently in the stage of surveillance and analysis. I told you, our revenge is a matter of time.”

US prosecutors have identified Al-Saadi as an Iraqi national and alleged senior commander in the Iran-backed militia Kata’ib Hezbollah.

Authorities accused him of coordinating nearly 20 attacks targeting Jewish and Western sites in the United States and Europe. He was arrested in Turkey and later transferred to US custody.

According to the Department of Justice, Al-Saadi directed or coordinated attacks including the March firebombing of the Bank of New York Mellon in Amsterdam, the stabbing of two Jewish victims in London in April, and a shooting at the US Consulate building in Toronto.

Federal authorities also accused him of involvement in the bombing of a synagogue in Liège, Belgium, and the arson of a temple in Rotterdam in March.
