Ap\u00f3s os terremotos que devastaram a regi\u00e3o sudeste da Turquia e em uma demonstra\u00e7\u00e3o de solidariedade o Ministro das Rela\u00e7\u00f5es Exteriores de Israel, Eli Cohen, fez nesta ter\u00e7a-feira uma breve visita a Ancara. Na capital turca, ele se reuniu com seu o chancelar Mevlut Cavusoglu e com o presidente Recep Tayyip Erdogan.<\/p>\n

Israel foi um dos primeiros pa\u00edses a atender ao pedido da Turquia por ajuda humanit\u00e1ria ap\u00f3s os terremotos que devastaram a regi\u00e3o sudeste do pa\u00eds. Al\u00e9m de uma miss\u00e3o composta por mais de 150 membros da Unidade de Defesa Civil das For\u00e7as de Defesa de Israel, uma delega\u00e7\u00e3o m\u00e9dica formada por 260 profissionais vem operando um hospital de campanha em solo turco.<\/p>\n

Entre cobertores e agasalhos, insumos m\u00e9dicos e equipamentos para purifica\u00e7\u00e3o de \u00e1gua, Jerusal\u00e9m tamb\u00e9m enviou \u00e0 Turquia mais de 60 toneladas de ajuda humanit\u00e1ria.<\/p>\n

\u201cMe reuni hoje com o presidente turco Recep Tayyip Erdogan. Expressei minhas condol\u00eancias pelo desastre e enfatizei o compromisso de Israel com a continuidade do apoio e assist\u00eancia ao povo da Turquia\u201d, disse Cohen.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs rela\u00e7\u00f5es entre nossos pa\u00edses s\u00e3o importantes para a estabilidade regional e continuaremos a estreitar nossos la\u00e7os. Amizades s\u00e3o especialmente mensuradas em tempos de dificuldades e neste delicado momento, Israel estendeu a m\u00e3o ao povo turco\u201d, disse o chanceler israelense.<\/p>\n

Em nota o Minist\u00e9rio das Rela\u00e7\u00f5es Exteriores de Israel informou ainda que em sua reuni\u00e3o, Eli Cohen e o presidente turco trataram de assuntos regionais e da amea\u00e7a iraniana. \u00a0Cohen teria falado ainda sobre a situa\u00e7\u00e3o dos israelenses Avera Mengistu e Hisham al-Sayed, mantidos ref\u00e9ns pelo grupo terrorista Hamas.<\/p>\n
