O Ministro da Defesa de Israel, Benny Gantz, assinou nesta ter\u00e7a-feira (30), junto a seu hom\u00f3logo japon\u00eas, ministro Yasukazu Hamada, um novo acordo de coopera\u00e7\u00e3o bilateral entre Jerusal\u00e9m e T\u00f3quio.<\/p>\n

\u201cNossos pa\u00edses compartilham objetivos comuns como a defesa de nossos lares, a busca por paz e estabilidade. A coopera\u00e7\u00e3o entre Israel e o Jap\u00e3o permitir\u00e1 que o desenvolvimento tecnol\u00f3gico e o compartilhamento de conhecimento fa\u00e7am com que alcancemos juntos estes objetivos\u201d, disse o ministro israelense.<\/p>\n

Benny Gantz disse ainda que o memorando de coopera\u00e7\u00e3o assinado entre Israel e o Jap\u00e3o abre portas para a colabora\u00e7\u00e3o nas \u00e1reas da tecnologia, intelig\u00eancia e ind\u00fastria. Atividades que visem o estreitamento das rela\u00e7\u00f5es e a coopera\u00e7\u00e3o entre as for\u00e7as armadas dos dois pa\u00edses tamb\u00e9m est\u00e3o previstas no acordo.<\/p>\n

\u201cDiante dos desafios regionais e globais que amea\u00e7am a seguran\u00e7a, o crescimento econ\u00f4mico e o fornecimento de alimentos e energia, \u00e9 de suma import\u00e2ncia a coopera\u00e7\u00e3o estrat\u00e9gia na \u00e1rea da defesa entre duas fortes democracias\u201d, defendeu Gantz.<\/p>\n

Ap\u00f3s ter seu investimento na \u00e1rea da defesa duplicado pelo primeiro-ministro Kishida Fumio o Jap\u00e3o \u00e9 hoje, proporcionalmente, o terceiro pa\u00eds que mais que mais investe em seguran\u00e7a. A ilha \u00e9 amea\u00e7a pela China, Cor\u00e9ia do Norte e pela guerra entre a R\u00fassia e a Ucr\u00e2nia, que elevou em todo o mundo, os custos da alimenta\u00e7\u00e3o e energia.<\/p>\n

Assim como Israel o Jap\u00e3o \u00e9 um importante aliado dos Estados Unidos e dos pa\u00edses do Golfo Ar\u00e1bico, dos quais depende e importa combust\u00edvel. Desde que foram assinados os Acordos de Abra\u00e3o o governo japon\u00eas tem demonstrando-se ainda mais aberto a cooperar com Jerusal\u00e9m.<\/p>\n

Em nota, o Minist\u00e9rio da Defesa do Jap\u00e3o disse que celebra o acordo com Israel e promete estreitar ainda mais os la\u00e7os com Jerusal\u00e9m na \u00e1rea da seguran\u00e7a. O comunicado lembra ainda o anivers\u00e1rio de 70 anos do estabelecimento das rela\u00e7\u00f5es diplom\u00e1ticas entre T\u00f3quio e Jerusal\u00e9m.<\/p>\n
