A Marinha de Israel impediu que um carregamento de armas chegasse \u00e0s m\u00e3os de terroristas do grupo Hamas. Isto, durante a madrugada deste s\u00e1bado para domingo, quando uma embarca\u00e7\u00e3o que saiu do Egito com destino \u00e0 Faixa de Gaza foi afundada pelas for\u00e7as israelenses.<\/p>\n

De acordo com uma nota divulgada pelo Porta-voz das For\u00e7as de Defesa de Israel, IDF na sigla em ingl\u00eas, a embarca\u00e7\u00e3o foi descoberta no Mar Mediterr\u00e2neo, pr\u00f3ximo \u00e0 costa da Faixa de Gaza, quando recebeu ordens para parar. Sem obter resposta dos tripulantes a embarca\u00e7\u00e3o foi alvejada pela marinha israelense e afundou.<\/p>\n

\u201cOs suspeitos que estavam na embarca\u00e7\u00e3o nadaram para a Faixa de Gaza\u201d, diz a nota divulgada pelo Porta-voz do IDF.<\/p>\n

Fontes militares disseram \u00e0 m\u00eddia israelense que na embarca\u00e7\u00e3o afundada pela marinha havia armas, muni\u00e7\u00e3o e m\u00edsseis antitanque.<\/p>\n

Para dificultar o acesso dos grupos terroristas palestinos a armas, muni\u00e7\u00e3o e principalmente foguetes, o governo israelense imp\u00f4s um bloqueio \u00e0 Faixa de Gaza. Isto, em 2007, quando o Hamas tomou o poder ap\u00f3s assassinar, prender e expulsar os representantes da Autoridade Palestina em Gaza.<\/p>\n

Assim como Israel, o Egito tamb\u00e9m imp\u00f5e um bloqueio terrestre, mar\u00edtimo e a\u00e9reo \u00e0 Faixa de Gaza por considerar grupo terrorista Hamas uma amea\u00e7a \u00e0 paz, seguran\u00e7a e estabilidade da regi\u00e3o.<\/p>\n
