Apesar de haver anunciado, ao assumir o poder, que n\u00e3o se calaria diante de ataques \u00e0 soberania de Israel e a seguran\u00e7a de sua popula\u00e7\u00e3o, o governo de Naftali Bennett ainda n\u00e3o autorizou uma resposta militar para a recente agress\u00e3o ao pa\u00eds. No \u00faltimo domingo, um foguete lan\u00e7ado por terroristas da Faixa de Gaza fez soar as sirenes de emerg\u00eancia na cidade de Sderot, antes de ser interceptado pelo sistema de defesa Domo de Ferro.<\/a><\/p>\n

Nesta ter\u00e7a-feira (17), durante visita a regi\u00e3o fronteiri\u00e7a entre Israel e a Faixa de Gaza, o premi\u00ea israelense disse que seu governo ir\u00e1 responder ao ataque terrorista no \u201cmomento, lugar e forma convenientes\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cNossa miss\u00e3o \u00e9 garantir a seguran\u00e7a dos moradores da regi\u00e3o sul de Israel e \u00e1reas adjacentes \u00e0 fronteira com a Faixa de Gaza. N\u00f3s retaliaremos no momento, lugar e forma convenientes\u201d, disse o premi\u00ea israelense.<\/p>\n

Bennett falou ainda que o grupo terrorista Hamas \u00e9 o respons\u00e1vel e responder\u00e1 por todo a\u00e7\u00e3o terrorista que parta do seu territ\u00f3rio.<\/p>\n

Tamb\u00e9m presente no local o Ministro da Defesa, Benny Gantz, falou que \u00e9 o terrorismo, e n\u00e3o os cidad\u00e3os da Faixa de Gaza, o verdadeiro inimigo israelense.<\/p>\n

\u201cIsrael est\u00e1 determinado a se defender e sabe como faz\u00ea-lo. Nossos \u00fanicos interesses s\u00e3o tranquilidade, seguran\u00e7a e a volta para casa de nossos garotos\u201d, disse Gantz, referindo-se aos civis israelenses mantidos ref\u00e9ns pelo grupo terrorista Hamas, assim como aos corpos dos soldados Hadar Goldin e Oron Shaul.<\/p>\n
