Policiais israelenses e soldados das For\u00e7as de Defesa de Israel, IDF na sigla em ingl\u00eas, apreenderam 43 pistolas, silenciadores e dezenas de carregadores na fronteira com o L\u00edbano. O material foi avaliado em 2.7 milh\u00f5es de shekels, aproximadamente 830.000 d\u00f3lares, e esta j\u00e1 \u00e9 tida como a maior apreens\u00e3o de armas dos \u00faltimos anos na fronteira norte do pa\u00eds.<\/p>\n

A opera\u00e7\u00e3o que levou a apreens\u00e3o das armas teve in\u00edcio depois que observadoras do IDF perceberam, na noite da \u00faltima sexta-feira (9), uma movimenta\u00e7\u00e3o suspeita na regi\u00e3o fronteiri\u00e7a, pr\u00f3ximo a aldeia libanesa de Ghajar. Soldados e policiais foram ent\u00e3o deslocados para o local e acompanharam a movimenta\u00e7\u00e3o dos suspeitos at\u00e9 realizarem a apreens\u00e3o.<\/p>\n

Esta \u00e9 a quinta grande apreens\u00e3o de armas e drogas realizada este ano na fronteira entre Israel e o L\u00edbano.<\/p>\n

As for\u00e7as de seguran\u00e7a israelenses abriram uma investiga\u00e7\u00e3o para descobrir de onde vieram as armas, para onde iriam e se seriam usadas em atentados terroristas. H\u00e1 ind\u00edcios, do envolvimento do grupo Hezbollah, que controla o sul do L\u00edbano.<\/p>\n

Na semana passada o IDF apontou o terrorista Hajj Khalil Harb como o respons\u00e1vel pelo tr\u00e1fico internacional de armas e drogas. Harb \u00e9 um alto membro Hezbollah muito pr\u00f3ximo a Hassan Nasrallah, l\u00edder da organiza\u00e7\u00e3o terrorista libanesa.<\/p>\n
