Um alto funcion\u00e1rio do governo dos Emirados \u00c1rabes Unidos, citado pelo jornal israelense Globes em um artigo<\/a> publicado na semana passada, condenou o Hamas e exigiu que a organiza\u00e7\u00e3o terrorista pare de lan\u00e7ar foguetes contra Israel.<\/p>\n

\u201cSe o Hamas n\u00e3o se comprometer com a paz, ele estar\u00e1 condenando os moradores da Faixa de Gaza a uma vida de sofrimento. Seus l\u00edderes t\u00eam de entender que sua pol\u00edtica est\u00e1, acima de tudo, ferindo o povo de Gaza\u201d, disse o figur\u00e3o que n\u00e3o teve sua identidade revelada.<\/p>\n

Os Emirados \u00c1rabes amea\u00e7aram ainda suspender os investimentos planejados para a Faixa de Gaza caso o Hamas continue a lan\u00e7ar foguetes contra Israel e sua popula\u00e7\u00e3o civil. Investimentos estes, que come\u00e7aram a ser articulados pelos governos do pa\u00eds mu\u00e7ulmano em parceria com o Bahrein e as Organiza\u00e7\u00e3o das Na\u00e7\u00f5es Unidas depois da normaliza\u00e7\u00e3o de suas rela\u00e7\u00f5es com o Estado de Israel. Isto, apesar de a lideran\u00e7a palestina haver condenado os Acordos de Abra\u00e3o e a paz.<\/p>\n

\u201cN\u00f3s ainda estamos prontos e dispostos a promover projetos civis na Faixa de Gaza em coopera\u00e7\u00e3o com a Autoridade Palestina e sob a coordena\u00e7\u00e3o das Na\u00e7\u00f5es Unidas mas o sossego \u00e9 nossa condi\u00e7\u00e3o\u201d, disse o alto funcion\u00e1rio dos Emirados \u00c1rabes ao jornal Globes.<\/p>\n

Desde que o Hamas deu in\u00edcio ao atual conflito com Israel, lan\u00e7ando um ataque a cidade de Jerusal\u00e9m no \u00faltimo dia 10 deste m\u00eas, mais de 3.000 foguetes j\u00e1 foram disparados por grupos terroristas da Faixa de Gaza contra Israel. At\u00e9 agora, 10 israelenses morreram e mais de 1.800 ficaram feridos.<\/p>\n

Em resposta aos ataques do Hamas e da Jihad Isl\u00e2mica Palestina, as For\u00e7as de Defesa de Israel, IDF na sigla em ingl\u00eas, v\u00eam bombardeando posi\u00e7\u00f5es militares de ambas as organiza\u00e7\u00f5es terroristas na Faixa de Gaza. Segundo o Minist\u00e9rio da Sa\u00fade palestino, 200 moradores da Faixa de Gaza morreram at\u00e9 agora em bombardeios israelenses. Infelizmente, o \u00f3rg\u00e3o n\u00e3o informa quantas destas v\u00edtimas estavam as organiza\u00e7\u00f5es terroristas Hamas ou Jihad Isl\u00e2mica Palestina.<\/p>\n

De acordo com o Porta-voz do IDF, General Hidai Zilberman, 160 terroristas foram eliminados at\u00e9 agora pelas for\u00e7as israelenses durante a oper\u00e7\u00e3o “Guardi\u00e3o das Muralhas”. Destes, aproximadamente 30 eram ligados \u00e0 Jihad Isl\u00e2mica e o restante ao Hamas.<\/p>\n
