No m\u00eas passado, Tzvi Yehezkeli, um renomado jornalista israelense dirigiu at\u00e9 cidades e vilarejos \u00e1rabes na regi\u00e3o da Jud\u00e9ia e Sam\u00e1ria, para entrevistar alguns dos cidad\u00e3os da Autoridade Palestina. Yehezkeli queria descobrir o que pensam os palestinos sobre o plano israelense de afirmar sua soberania sobre parte do territ\u00f3rio hoje conhecido como Cisjord\u00e2nia. Isto, em fun\u00e7\u00e3o do \u201cAcordo de Paz do S\u00e9culo\u201d arquitetado pelo presidente americano Donald Trump.<\/p>\n

Desde o primeiro momento, antes mesmo da divulga\u00e7\u00e3o dos termos da proposta de paz para o Oriente M\u00e9dio movido pelo governo dos Estados Unidos, os altos funcion\u00e1rios da Autoridade Palestina o condenaram<\/a>. Em uma nota<\/a>, o porta-voz de Mahmoud Abbas chegou a dizer que \u201caqueles que desejam servir ao interesse do povo palestino devem respeitar\u201d a posi\u00e7\u00e3o da Autoridade Palestina, que segundo ele, era um reflexo da sociedade. Ou seja, aqueles que tiverem uma opini\u00e3o diferente da lideran\u00e7a s\u00e3o inimigos, traidores. N\u00e3o h\u00e1 espa\u00e7o para a paz como n\u00e3o h\u00e1 espa\u00e7o para a diversidade de opini\u00f5es.<\/p>\n

Deixando as luxuosas mans\u00f5es dos l\u00edderes palestinos de lado e seguindo em dire\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e0s cidades e aldeias, o jornalista israelense Tzvi Yehezkeli descobriu que grande parte da sociedade palestina sonha em viver em Israel como um cidad\u00e3o israelense como outro qualquer.<\/p>\n

Ao ser questionado se teria vontade de receber a cidadania israelense, um palestino que n\u00e3o quis ser filmado preferiu n\u00e3o responder por \u201cter medo de ser enforcada\u201d. Mas segundo ele, \u201c80% dos moradores da cidade onde vivo querem a cidadania israelense e 20% tamb\u00e9m querem, mas preferem n\u00e3o se manifestar\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cOs palestinos n\u00e3o querem a Autoridade Palestina\u201d, disse um outro entrevistado \u201celes nos humilham e nos destroem\u201d. Segundo ele, a lideran\u00e7a palestina s\u00f3 tem interesse em atos de terror e corrup\u00e7\u00e3o. \u201cEles s\u00f3 roubam\u201d, concluiu ele antes de relatar que seu cunhado foi submetido a uma cirurgia em Israel e todos os custos foram pagos por uma ONG israelense.<\/p>\n

Nesta ter\u00e7a-feira (14), dias ap\u00f3s a exibi\u00e7\u00e3o da reportagem, o jornalista israelense contou a rede de not\u00edcias francesa AFP que entre os entrevistados, ao menos 6 pessoas foram presas pelas for\u00e7as de seguran\u00e7a da Autoridade Palestina. \u201cTudo que eles disseram foi que desejam ser cidad\u00e3os israelenses\u201d disse Tzvi Yehezkeli, \u201cagora eles est\u00e3o nas instala\u00e7\u00f5es de tortura da Autoridade Palestina. \u00c9 horr\u00edvel\u201d.<\/p>\n

Questionada pela rede de not\u00edcias AFP a Autoridade Palestina negou as acusa\u00e7\u00f5es, mas familiares dos presos as confirmaram. \u201cEles est\u00e3o presos h\u00e1 v\u00e1rias semanas e ser\u00e3o julgados por ter falado com um meio de comunica\u00e7\u00e3o israelense e criticado a Autoridade Palestina.\u201d<\/p>\n

N\u00e3o \u00e9 de hoje que a lideran\u00e7a palestina prende aqueles que discordam de suas opini\u00f5es e interesses. Em junho do ano passado por exemplo, o empres\u00e1rio Salah Abu Miala foi preso<\/a> pelas for\u00e7as de seguran\u00e7a da Autoridade Palestina por haver participado do F\u00f3rum Econ\u00f4mico Prosperidade para a Paz. <\/strong><\/p>\n
