ACT NOW: Demand a Global Crackdown on Hamas Propaganda in the Press

On August 5, BILD and Süddeutsche Zeitung laid bare how Gaza-based photojournalists, including Anas Zeyad Fteiha, deliberately staged “starvation” scenes for the world’s cameras.

These images, manufactured by operatives masquerading as independent press, have circled the globe — weaponized by CNN, BBC, Time Magazine, The Guardian, and The New York Times — to twist public opinion against Israel, cover up the real suffering of Israeli hostages, and embolden Jew-hatred worldwide.

These photos are not accidental. Empty pots, crying children, desperate crowds — all rehearsed in front of food distribution sites moments before aid is handed out.

Meanwhile, international outlets ignore the emaciated Israeli hostages like Evyatar David and Rom Breslavski, whose torment is too real, too inconvenient for their narrative.

When have these networks shown the truth about Hamas’s psychological warfare, holding civilians as pawns and corpses as bargaining chips?

The major media’s complicity with Hamas’s propaganda machine has fueled a horrifying spike in global antisemitism, with attacks surging in America and worldwide.

The public barely glimpses the extent of Hamas’s control over every image from southern Gaza — 100% of warzone photography is filtered, staged, and curated for maximum anti-Israel outrage. And the media eats it up, failing their duty as watchdogs, turning a blind eye to Hamas’s exploitation of humanitarian aid, UN complicity, and lies broadcast as health statistics and “facts.”

Enough is enough. International media regulators, press freedom bodies, and human rights organizations must investigate and hold accountable any outlet that publishes Hamas-controlled content without context or verification. Journalism must serve truth, not terrorist propaganda.

This is not journalism. This is psychological warfare, with the world’s leading papers and broadcasters as Hamas’s unwitting foot soldiers. We cannot let this slide. The silence of press freedom agencies, human rights bodies, and international watchdogs is morally indefensible and politically catastrophic.

The public deserves accurate reporting—not psychological warfare disguised as photojournalism. We cannot let the world’s most trusted media outlets become mouthpieces for Hamas.
